I like most of them and they remind me of how I whitnessed Rome. Except for the trevi fountain, at which the place was completely filled with people.
Paid extra for not walking the first steps at vatican? I hated the stairs.. some fat american bitch almost started hyperventilating in front of me on the stairs shortly before reaching the top. Luckily it wasn't on the really narrow ones with that rope hanging down from the top.

i came across the fountain quite a few times an it was crowded AF. but i decided to go in the morning one time. >>2820903 and >>2820905 are the fountain at aprox. 8:15 in the morning and i also got the see the guys cleaning out all the coins like this.
i didnt pay extra for the elevator as it only gets you first few steps. the top platform and the stairs to it are definitely nothing for fat people or people who have problem s in tight spaces. maybe there would be some air to breath on the top platform then.

i had both pizza and pasta. pizza was hit and miss but i have high standards in that. pasta in rome was always pretty good with some really nice culinary peaks.
best dish i had tho was in florence and was called tripa fiorentina. its made from tripe (might not be everybodys taste but i loved it) and tasted delicious.

I never wrote I didn't like some of them and I cannot comment on the ones from Florence as I haven't been there. Looking again I dislike my own stuff from the Vatican as I just walked past the place you took your shots (>>2820561 and >>2820562) from without noticing. On the other hand that road was pretty busy when I went there.
We paid for the elevator.. madame bought the tickets and I wasn't asked, but I guess that was ok as we walked from near Termini to the Vatican.
When walking down from the top of the dome again I really liked the narrow space after the stairs. You only have to lean into the wall and keep walking.

We had a nice apartment at San Lorenzo and spent most evenings there. All natives recommended pizzaria Formula 1.. had some nice white 4 cheese pizza served by a Michael Caine lookalike. What bothered me was Michael Schumacher looking at me from the posters all the time and the others didn't like the pizza that much.
I went to Italy too, more specifically Bologna.
Everything is so orange over there. Just like Spritz.

I'm sorry i misread you liking most of them into you not liking some of them. I'm even more glad now.
Both of the shots you mentioned were taken at night after dinner, which you might remember is pretty late in rome.
The whole area around the castello angelo and the vatican was beautiful iluminated and very much enjoyable during the night, without all the crowds.
There were only few tourists and some homeless people who were sleeping there.
m'lady almost killed me for those nightly walkarounds since weve been walking all day long for 5 days and so even longer when i wanted to shoot some stuff at night.
i did rather walk around the city for the whole night than going back to the arpartment which was right above a bar/nightclub which meant no sleep anyway.
