Spare card is in my other bag, that I usually use but I took a TLR out today and needed something to put it in.
Scanning though pics to delete while the light is escaping me.

Probably the only things that doesn't completely suck on this camera are the 28x-zoom and the macro capability.

Really like how the foreground has those bubbles. If it was just water it would feel unbalanced but those bubbles give some texture and it works really well. That said, the background of the image contains nothing interesting. The foreground bubbles aren't enough to hold the image up on their own so I"m left wanting more to look at. With an interesting background/horizon they compliment the photo but without more the image as a whole fails.

I dig it. I would have panned down a touch more to include more of the dock. The bottom of the frame feels awkwardly cut off. I may have also panned left a bit more to exclude the boat that's cut in half to put the reflection at the edge of the frame. Nice overall though, keep shooting!

Anyway, I've been playing with Nik and I love the multi lens effect. It kind of feels like cheating to be able to digitally move around each frame but I'm not really a purist since I'm using digital anyway. What do you guys think of stuff like this? The human body isn't shaped that way, which leads to awkward, cramped framing and a lot of wasted space for the background.
I know that movies do it, but what works for movies doesn't always work for photography as they aim for two different goals.

I would say that you should always put sunset photos in color, but honestly it works really well here, I really like this one. I would darken the highlights and bump the exposure one stop.
Overall, just try to branch out more. To me, your strongest was your last one. Architecture is fun and interesting, but it can get repetitive. Go places. Come up with ideas for portraits. Whatever, just go out and try, that's how you get better.

I completely agree about the river apartment, I think I was trying to force the mirrored reflection of the building into the frame. Definitely should get more sky. Sadly right now I don't have a tripod to do decent long exposures and my hands just aren't fucking steady enough.
For the last one I'll check out those fixes. Again, thanks for the comments. As it gets warmer out I'm definitely going hunting for decent subjects, all my photos are pretty boring right now.

Thanks for the reply, yeah it's probably the fake grain, I never know if I should avoid adding grain and deal with the fact I'm shooting digital or emulate it anyway.
