I'm sorry OP but I don't get anything from your photos. really, I don't. I appreciate you sharing them but none of them really offer anything to the view. Maybe the fourth image is the closest thing to a keeper you have, but I just don't get anything out of it. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to get from your photos, and most importantly, I don't know why you not only took those shots but I don't know why you chose to share them.

i would of loved this one if the skate was the priority, instead the background is in focus, you'll probably never get a shot like this again, pity, the eagerness to cross, the gap between the skate and the rest, the fact no ones staring at you, to see what ya doing, kick yourself >>2804904

you shouldve either stopped down, so more was in focus, or shot wide open on this one. The bokeh in the background is terribly annoying.

the background is noisy, so you shouldve shot wider open with slower iso.
you missed focus, but thats pretty hard on moving subjects, so if youre a beginner this is a nice try.

bad pp, the washed out feel can be cool, but its usually used on photos with lots of colour from the get go, to lower the contrast on uninteresting and dark elements in the photo, and lend emphasis on the subject, where there usually lies som nice natural contrast in the lightning. there is no real subject here, and no striking complimentary colors, so youre just making a bland photo feel even blander.

instead of pulling the focus away from the noisy surroundings and towards the couple walking, by upping the black point, youre making the eye skid off of them and wander around the photo to the point of highest contrast, which is a uninteresting stripe of fluorescent lightning. it could maybe be salvaged by restoring detail in the blacks, making the couple a tad lighter with a gradient filter in lightroom, maybe use some clarity brushing to give them some contrast to compete with the lightbulbs, and lower the contrast on the lightbulbs.

this is the best one, but again, more detail in the blacks would make the man easier for the eyes to rest on. It wouldve been even better if the man was facing towards you. if you had waited a couple minutes, and planned the shot, you probably couldve gotten a cyclist facing towards the camera.
also the focus is slightly off in every single one, but that comes naturally after some practice
