New to photography, how am i doing?
Terrible, resize your images to something sensible and then fucking kill yourself
I agree that it needs resized but I kinda like it.
I think you got lucky with a very generic long exposure, though, and I think the scene is too busy.
You can explore the theme further and with more care.

What do you mean resize? Shrink the file size or crop?
>>2802609
Thank you, that was the first time taking a picture like that, so i think i got lucky too
And by resize do you mean make the file smaller?
Oh, and im using a Samsung nx30 with the kit lens
all around me are familiar faces

looks a dream
wish it had more resolution
Badly, but keep at it and you'll probably do better

Read the sticky, nerd.

The shit colors work with this one
Especially the patches in foreground

Sticky is outdated
I'm new too. We're all terrible, because it's all subjective. Resizing sucks.

there's a ghost in your photo.

interesting shots. don't worry about all the fags telling you you suck and resize and whatnot; you're making interesting shots, experimenting with techniques and show a very decent eye for composition. the technical stuff you will learn along the way; just keep shooting and have fun.

Nice framing here
Hey guys, I'm not OP but I'm politely hijacking this thread to ask for a little help. I'm also pretty new to photography and I want this photo reviewed because I'm thinking of using it on my portfolio.
I did crop it a little to fit the rules slightly better, but it's still a decently big file so watch out.

too much sharpening, use masking, sharpening a blank wall is just asking for added grain
its all a bit too dark
the shadows in her clothing are a bit much since she is the subject
completely different idea, but why not focus on the wilting flowers and have her kinda blurry instead?
>>2803063
even though that's too small to really be able to tell the quality of the original, a better idea is to not spam upload photos.

You're in the shitty experimental stage, where you are expected to be for some time.
Just keep shooting.
