I can build upon this
My DSLR progression was 50, 90, and now 700 is my main body. The 50 doesn't get much action any more but its a great camera.
I was disappointed when Nikon dumbed down the entry level range - no top LCD, hiding most controls in menu's etc.
Give me a D50/70/90 any day.

Taken with my D70 and an Asahi 55mm 1.8, MF and ME, very happy. For 80€ this camera was a steal.
D70 and an old M42 Tamron 28mm
Another with the D70, but with a Nikkor 18-70 lens, perhaps a too heavy filter but hey what can you do
More a low light test, high ISO D70, hand held with Asahi 55mm 1.8 M42
Random Portrait I guess, D70 and 18-70 at 70mm and f4.5
Random Shot in the mirror, more shot for an Instagram profile photo than anything else, D70 and 18-70, if you go on Instagram and search for nikon35mm, loads of my photos will be with the D70, not the best, but I'm quite happy with the results, for about €150 in total :)
But in general, the D70 has been amazing. For a 2004 camera, I'm in love with it. The build is great, while still lightweight enough, and feels solid. It's big and grippy, and the buttons and such are nicely laid out. The images at ISO 200 are very clean, with great RAWfiles as well. There is a little rangefinder in the viewfinder, which is a great help with my manual focus lenses. The lcd while small, is still good enough for previewing photos, and the menus are very clear. The autofocus performance for me is very snappy, especially with the centre point. The battery is great, and having the screw driver AF motor allows you to use way more lenses than say the more expensive d3300, which is in my opinion more important. But yeah, it's a great camera, and all in all, really satisfies my needs, 6mp is more than enough, and makes editing easy on any machine for me. Pic related is my d70 with the 18-70 DX lens, about as cheap as the 18-55 shit lens, but so much better. Great combo desu senpai
are none of these analogue
i really couldn't tell, kudos
D3000 to d200 to d7100.
D3000 is built for childs hands and has obfuscated controls resold it 3 weeks after buying. Went to buy a lens on craigslist abd seller had a d200 that i tested it with. Instantly fell in love with construction/feel, and the on body controls. Shot 300k frames waiting for d400 to drop...never happened so i 'upgraded' to d7100. Love the image quality, but the construction/feel is a definite downgrade from d200. I began to eye the d810 but they just dropped the d500 which is prob a better bet for me now.
