Anyone here use the VSCO presets?
It's like filters on steroids.
Anyone know where I can get them for free?
>>2778529
is it a PS plugin or something?
>>2778529
I don-t get the deal with VSCO presets. I downloaded them. Had literally hundred of shitty presets from canon, leica, fuji etc films. They all loked like total shit...
>>2778529
I have packs 1 - 6 for Lightroom. I could try to upload them if you want? Let me know.
>>2778896
anon no, canon, leica, fuji etc weren't film brands, those were groups of presets made for different digital camera brands
you were supposed to use the one for your own camera combined with the supplied camera profile
if you don't have a supported camera, you just use the standard presets
>>2778904
That's what I get for downloading it illegally with no proper instructions. Thanks for the info.
I use Vsco for all my work these days.
I use the Nik collection instead, and generally like it. I'd be interested to try VSCO and see what I think of it, though.
>all these cucks
>>2778911
no, that's what you get for being a retard
I'm still learning how to post-process, so for the time being I pick a subtle VSCO filter. Works well enough.
>>2778902
Yes, please.
Can someone upload them sorting by B/W, contrast++ and stuff like that?
>>2778902
Pls
Kodak gold 200 is clearly the best vsco preset
>>2779825
Thanks senpai
Other good raccomandation?
Y'all are a bunch of fuckwads and should just sell your cameras now.
Why don't you retards just learn how to fucking post process, and stop being talentless/lazy cunts?
>>2779832
>>2779842
well aren't you two mad
Do I understand it correctly that these VSCO presets that are being sold for big $$$ just set the sliders in Lightroom?
>>2778915
Do you have to go through each photo individually with it, or is there a "paste setting" thing?
>>2779884
This, do they have exclusive "algorithms" or it's just a bunch of fucking presets with different values for the sliders already present in LR?
>>2780105
It's just presets bruh.
>>2780103
1st
>>2780107
Is Nik the same stuff?
>>2780139
No. Nik is a proper plugin.
>>2780305
Nik is decent, although a lot of it seems geared towards the kinds of photographers who love dramatic transformation in their post process.
Vsco sucks.
>>2778984
I didn't realize this either, it's really not that clear
>>2779884
yes and the mobile app causes rampant aliasing for some reason
>>2780103
I usually do it individually, but I think it's possible to copy certain settings between photos when running it through PS.
>>2780398
There's certainly a lot of extreme stuff in there, but there's also quite a bit of subtle stuff. I really like their sharpening and noise reduction plugins, and Color Efex has a "Pro Contrast" filter that's absolute magic, it manages to make everything pop just that little bit more without being glaring.
Here's an example of a photo SOOC, with only lens correction and RAW profile applied, vs one that's been through Viveza, CEP, and Sharpener Pro.

Both suck
>>2782513
Meh, I'm not much of a landscape photog.
I mostly use it for portrait stuff, though, and the people I shoot wouldn't be very happy if I posted unprocessed pics, so I went with that.

Why can't i buy new packs after restoring purchases?
Can someone recommend me some nice VSCO filter names?
>>2778529
>using vsco shit
>not using the Nik collection
Lol
>>2785350
>Nik collection
top kek
>>2779842
Teach me. I want my images resemble film as close as possible.
>>2785382
Shoot film then.
Digital is still firmly in the never ever territory.
>every pic of portfolio having the same filter
