So what is the best software for just plain viewing pictures?
Images are sometimes not shown due to bandwidth/network limitations. Refreshing the page usually helps.

So what is the best software for just plain viewing pictures?
With the least amount of annoying useless crap, windows you can't remove and just all around most clear interface?
I've tried xnviewer and infraview but they are guilty of the stuff I previously mentioned.

Well, I've been using ACDSee 3.1 since 2001. It's super fast, opens pretty much everything and has quite a minimalistic interface.
