I'm going to Vietnam soon and am looking to get into photography again but the problem is i lost all my passion for photography when dslr's came along and film became to expensive (where i come from atleast).
So i'm looking for a dslr that feels like a 35mm film camera:
-prefer without screen
-manual focus
-all controls of slr
previous camera's are pentax ME and Nikon F3
I do realise they probably don't produce this type of camera now but i'm hoping they might have produced one when dslr's first came out to try to get people to transition over.
Try any of the Fuji X series. X-Pros or X-E's or X-T's. Maybe Olympus OM-D E's
Just buy any fucking dslr and don't look at the lcd retard.

Why not get a half-frame camera instead since film cost is a factor?

You could just get a $20 film camera and a few rolls of film for just the one trip. If film is too expensive for daily use, don't use it daily. Sounds like a trip to a foreign country is the perfect time to make an exception.
