Background seems a little weird to me. It's all pink and red hues on the left but then transitions to a faded khaki on the right, with this big old patch of dark on the bottom right. I think if it was uniformly either red/pink it'd work better and be a decent backdrop.

Looks to me like the pink is coming from a gelled flash in the back.

Yes it's from gelled flash, sometimes I can kind of get it to work like I think I did in this shot from the same shoot.
