All photos were taken using a reversed Sigma 30mm f/1,4.
Any thoughts on how to improve?
I like that there's some sort of attention to color, and it's quite consistent throughout the series.
I'm not really into macro stuff, so I'll just point towards the only stuff I know of the field, look into focus stacking to improve your depth of field. Half of your object is out of focus, and that's not exactly a good thing.

I'll try my hand at focus stacking, however taking the photos handheld without the lens attached to the camera body may prove to be bothersome.

huh? what you're referring to is lens whacking, totally different thing.
focus stacking is basically about taking several pictures focusing on different parts and stitching them to have everything in focus.
it needs to be on a tripod.

I was just trying to say that it will be a pain in the arse for me seeing as I do not have an adapter to keep the reversed lens on the camera...sorry if I did not express myself properly.
Actually I just need to buy a proper macro lens.

you don't necessarily need a macro lens, but the tripod is actually going to be the vital element.
and it will help you free one hand, if you have to hold the lens.
and maybe you could do some DIY adapter for that too.

I have the tripod, in this case it was for the left-hand side flash...I really need to get a dedicated cheapy tripod for it.
Ordered a reverse 62mm to EOS adapter, I'm just scared that it might get stuck somehow...
