So, inspired a bit from Un Jour, La Nuit by Zachman, i went out with a Canon A630 to have some fun and try new things.
The idea was to get some kind of atmospheric vibrant colors.

This one was my last thread if you want to check out something less abstract: >>2724781
this was posted like a year ago, it's what I gauge my "weird experimentals" off of
>>2728697
THIS is nice.
>>2728684
I quite like this one, but it should be more abstract.
>>2728697
Relly cool, how you achive that look?
Just contributin
>>2728681
I really liked it until I realized it was a bar and the air went out of the picture. I wish it would've been less clear what I'm looking at, the thumbnail makes it look like some Korean Blade Runner-type shit.
>>2729081
Hey, thx for passing bye.
What does it mean that the air went out of the picture?
>>2729088
I really liked the strange bending lights and the whole moodiness, the image being crooked was a good touch, so everything was every otherwordly but the bar didn't let me get fully immersed in it. It's a very interesting shot other than the bar if you ask me
>>2729063
>Bro this is cool. You got a higher res ver?
It's not OPs if you read carefully.
>>2729088
Thing is if you wanna take weird-ass blurry coloured shape pictures you gotta make sure we can't see what it actually is. It's the difference between a cool abstract thing and a blurry-ass picture of some drunk people.

Good advice. You think that its the name and the yellow part of the corner? or both? Maybe i could keep the name that reveals what is the pic, only if is really indecipherable

Not that guy but I think it's the point of view of your camera. If you rotate it to be horizontally level, it's just a picture of the floor with the bar in the background and platform in the foreground. If you look at some of Zachmann's more abstract pictures in the set you were inspired by, our sense of space and/or location is screwed up by the inclusion of various perspectives. Putting a television image, reflections, and a view outside a window all within the same frame can create this effect easily, whereas taking a picture of a scene head-on (whether or not your angle is wonky) cannot.
If you're trying to make an abstract image with simple lines and shapes, I think you really need to be mindful of what's in the frame and the effect it has on your perception. In your photo, it isn't hard to tell what I'm looking at. The bar in the background and the reflections give me a clear idea of what I'm looking at. Simply rotating your camera didn't make it less difficult.

I think i understand what you are trying to say.
Basically, i have to find ways / angles that add something to the general abstract look.

u are cute though.
>>2729372
Hey, OP here. I know what shutter speed is, dont know how to manage the camera well though, but the blurry, out of focus whas on purpose.
I was trying to learn some new stuff, never called it art, or myself and artist. Its has to be more difficult than that lol.
>>2729375
Not him but next time try your handheld long exposures while you're already in panning motion. Dont hit the shutter and then start moving, or you're gonna get too sqwiggly
but theyre honestly pretty bad and you're using a $100 p&s sooo
