I've barely seen any threads about monitors, i am curios about yours!
What do you use and how do you like it?
I'll start:
>Dell U2312HM
Have it for 2 years and no complains so far. no pixel errors nothing.
I sort of want a bigger screen but well, i am sitting really close to compensate that. 9/10 would buy again!
mbp retina 13" 2015

Ezio monitor nothing to complain
I like keeping my possessions to the bare minimum but the display on my ThinkPad was so shit that I had to get an ext monitor. U3011. 2560x1600 calibrated.
Usin' this bastard right now
Wanna start doing editing on my gayming pc instead of my bitch ass macbook but dont know much about non gayming monitors
would i be fine if I just got the shit to calibrate it or do i really need to get another monitor
>>2724410
you want HURTZ for gayming but color accuracy for editing. Can't have both
>>2723919
just bought a benq gw2255 va panel.
best thing ever.
no ips glow.
no backlight bleed.
deep blacks.
rated at 100% srgb and the colour is really good.

You are wrong. These last few years when more and more 120hz+ monitors came out we were sold this lie that if you want gaming, you need high refresh rate. You only need refresh rate if you play FPS shooters and if you play them competetively. 60hz is fine for 95% people.
Pic is my 27MB85Z, meant for editing, but also delay free so also good for fast paced gaming.
This is mine.
IPS, factory calibrated.

lol no, stay pleb
my thinkpad T430 with the worst screen you can imagine
The new Dell monitors with full AdobeRGB are fucking nice. for example the Dell UltraSharp UP2516D.
Eizo has also some pretty great monitors.
anybody else have Asus? I got my first "pro" monitor a year ago, it's not eizo-level and cost but a nice heavy 24'' I use for photo, graphics and slow pace gaming.
I think it's quite good but I'm no real expert and can't do much comparison

how far do you sit away from it? 27" is a bit too big for my taste..like i imagine your desk.. poor desk!
>>2724727
27" is pretty big if you're living in a shack in Zimbabwe, for the rest of the world it's a standard size.
>>2724737
flat in new york. but okay, assuming things hasn't got you far in life i suppose. work on your puns.
