have you tried panning the camera?
>>
Looks like Photoshop to me
>>

I did, but what direction? Is it around the tree? It looks like the central point is somewhere on the left but also the the tree in the middle is not moving...

Just a guess but put a boom arm on your tripod like pic related.

Then maybe a long exposure, but my guess is burst fire as your pan and image stack using the non moving tree for alignment.

I'm gonna go fucks around with it and see what I come up with.

look at the leaves on the ground in the first picture. I think thats the direction he panned the camera (backwards clockwise)

Butt the three in the middle, it looks spinning

If this photo were done in camera (it isn't) the camera would be stationary, while the entire scene rotated quickly around a fixed point off the left side of the frame, and as far away as the white tree. This is 100% photoshop. Not done in camera.

If the camera were moving to cause this look, you wouldn't see the "close half" of the blur, because it would be behind the POV of the camera.

Or better yet, as you are driving past, hold one tree center frame while having a longish shutter speed, as you rotate and move horizontally it will give a turning look to your shot.

Some other nice stuff on her? website.

That's not really a long exposure in conventional way. I think it's a large stack of short exposures merged together. Chris Friel got ahead in this technique.
>>
My friend Dan was doing something similar. I never did bother to ask him about it though...

Yes, panning with the center tree as you go by would work.
