Post shots that could have been been better with minor adjustments such as better framing, focusing, lens, or timing. And 1000 px on one edge, please.

However I bombed my photo by not being close enough and placed an umbrella between us. It was the last shot on my roll of film so fuck my second chance.

I fuck up a lot, but I usually forget what I took a picture of almost as soon as I take the picture, so I don't really feel disappointment or remember specific missed shots. When I process the pictures I'll see the pictures and if I see a dud I'll be like 'huh, I wonder what that was."
I take a fuckton of shit pictures, just took my 50,000th picture of the year yesterday. A huge majority of them are unpresentable, and it usually comes down to:
>uninteresting subject
>bad composition or missed moment
>blurry
>out of focus
I usully don't remember taking them so I don't feel that bad about them.
There's this shot I do remember missing, because I so wanted it to be perfect and I got it almost just the way I wanted the shot to look but I missed it. The car was turning around in front of the couple and the headlights were going to look like a stage light perfectly on them and I pulled the camera out of my pocket but I was a fraction of a second too late so the light wasn't centered, and my fat finger turned the dial while I switched the camera on and I ended up underexposing by like 3 stops. I also tripped on a pothole in front of them.

Fucking up on film is is 100 times worse than fucking up on digital because A. you only get 27 pictures and you've now wasted one, and B. because the lab now has to see your fuckup
I don't think think this image is a missed shot though. Maybe it's not what you were going for but aesthetically and compositionally it's still an interesting image

This is actually pretty good.
Unless it was your friend or something and you definitely wanted his face, it makes for a more interesting shot the way it is.

kek, nice bants
I have the perfect photo for this thread.
I was cycling from A to B to find some landscapes or cityscapes to shoot and it was getting late. This couple was on a evening walk, sun was setting, I was in the middle of field and it was pretty much the perfect setting. I quickly got my camera from my backbag and managed to take a shot just as they were on top of the hill. And that's when I learned to always set my camera ready for shooting when I put it in my bag. I was manually focusing my previous photos and had forgotten the focus switch to manual.
