hey guys!
i'm sure someone here can help me
i'm looking for a photographer's name
i've heard about him at art history class
i don't know where did he live, but somewhere between 1900 and 1950 i think
all of his stuff was black and white thats the only thing i'm sure about
his main theme was mad people, and other creepy stuff similar to that
it was very dark and creepy

Ansel Adams

you've described like most photographers of the 1900s
Sounds like Joel Peter Witkin, whose work looks like it's a century old but is actually contemporary.

I always thought upskirts would look like shit.

off the top of my head I can think of Robert Capa, Diane Arbus and Daido Moriyama. All of which photographed mad and creepy people. I think you might underestimate how many influential photographers there were in the 1900s

yess Diane Arbus was the one i was looking for
by the way i'm doing photography only on the most amateurish level, i was looking for it partly because i thought they would be great reference pictures for paintings
if someone could dump some similar ones i would be really grateful

Same here.
I really like the wide angle.
Gives it context.
Most upskirts are way too close.
can we get some nice upskirts ?
i bet some off you is a proffesional in this field.
