Lets talk about photography workshops or masterclasses we've attended or planning to attend.
Also, what are some good workshops running in 2016?

i don't need some scrub to tell me what to do.
people that go to this workshops are losers.
i went to one with Andreas Rost. he was pretty based. it was like 2 weeks long, my first stuff to be put in a museum was my output of that workshop, so it was all good stuff for me.
i expected him to be more dusseldorff schooly (he was advertised somewhat that way), but still, he was a good curator/teacher

Has anyone travelled overseas solely for a workshop?

You should have a better respect for the teaching profession. I have learnt more through masterclasses than I have myself, on here, or from art school.

Workshops are as much teaching as stealing a kid's lunch money is being a life coach.
At least nobody took advantage of you here and stole your money and art school gives you a better chance to get a job and see hot chicks. How much did you spend on these "masterclasses"? As a follow up question: have you heard of youtube?
