Your cell phone.
Ricoh GR
The gear thread
>>
Theres a compact camera general, ask there
>>
>>2698974
There's the GR, but if you can't afford that, you can try getting the Samsung EX2F which has an f/1.4 lens AND a fully articulated screen, as well as manual controls in video mode, though it is at the cost of a much smaller sensor

If you want really compact camera with manual controls and an evf, then I would suggest the Panasonic LF1
>>
Panasonic GM5 with 20mm f/1.7 lens
>>
>>2699648
yo thanks dude this camera looks really fun
>>
Lumix LX100
>>
>>2699657
I can sell you one. Not much used :)
>>
Noone going to mention the Olympus Pen series? Or for the most compact Pentax Q?
>>
>>2699651
900 dollars...

FFS, POST IN THE GEAR THREAD YOU NEWFAGGOT. REEE
>>
>>2699715
If you don't need the viewfinder or the hot-shoe you can get a GM1 or a GF7 which are a similar size and have the same IQ for a lot less. Also OP didn't mention a budget.

Can confirm with RX100M3. Nothing better for pocketable videotography.
>>
>>2699887
>not m4

just fuck off!!!
>>
>>2699965
I have no need for 4K video. Full sensor 1080 XAVC-S readout is more than enough for me, as well as 120FPS slowmo. No real changes for photos, even with the BSI sensor. I've also been using the M3 for over a year already.
>>
>>2699887
>>2699965
Lumix LX100 is better
>>
>>2699995
>12megapickle cropped out of a 16megapickle
>>
>>2700022
So what
Bigger sensor, better IQ, better video, better controls
>>
>>2700023
Individual sensor size is what's important, not overall size.
>>
>>2699995
Not pocketable
>>
>>2699661
why are you trying to sell it though? :^)
>>
>>2700283
Personally I don't like the really small pocketable cameras, I find them to be too small to be used comfortably, also when they're in your pocket they're exposed to dust and other shit
>>
>>2700316
then why are you in this thread you turbo-autist? go back to your MF/LF/FF thread where you belong.

Kill yourself
>>

But who buys a point and shoot for 900 dollars? Aside from its light and compact size, whats the value? Why would someone get this over something like an a6000 which is just a slightly bit bigger yet top notch.
>>
>>2700359
For one thing, the a6000 is incredibly noisy whereas this is literally as quiet as a mouse.

You might not notice the need for this if you are in the city but if you wanna take a pic while on a calm street in a small-ish town... with the a6000 you better not mind everybody in a 30m radius turning their heads towards you.
>>
>>2700359
>a6000 which is just a slightly bit bigger

People who say this obviously don't own/use both an a6000 & a compact.
>>
>>2702569
>people who don't use sd card readers.
>>
>>2702569
>1/1.7"
bigger than shit but still small.

>some f4 voigtlander
does it purple cast?
should have gotten a sony 20 2.8
>>
>>2702738
it's obviously a macbook air with 1 usb port.
hahaha kek.
>>
>>2702738
It's a USB charger.

>>2702741
>should have gotten a sony 20 2.8

Because that would've worked great on my M mount bodies.
>>
>>2702738
lol ur just butthurt. every new mac has a built in card reader
>>
What's the Canon equivalent of a GR?
>>
>>2702792
eos m + 22mm f/2
>>
>>2703805
i have this.
lens is sharp wide open.
get a stick on rubber grip and hotshoe grip.
you won't be taking fast action but you can use small aperture, spray and pray.

also get a sandisk 48MB/s sd card. it will max out the card writer.
