I used to have a $4000 gaymen setup with a 1440p monitor, $1200 studio monitors, expensive peripherals and a huge desk... and then I discovered minimalism.
Now I have a 12.5'' ThinkPad that goes where I go. I'm 1000x happier and more productive.

Critically endangered in the wild and possibly even extinct because they're native to a bunch of lakes which used to exist in central Mexico but which were drained to build Mexico City, but they're pretty common in captivity as pets and for scientific research because they can regrow limbs and other neat stuff.

I would get new monitors before I got a new camera or lens. But we can't all have what we want all the time. The KRKs have served me well and I do fine with them. I bought them in 2007 before people knew about them, and they had a very good reputation until they became "meme' monitors just recently, when suddenly they don't have a good reputation. Hmm gee wonder if that has more to do with their actual value or if it's just contrarianism.
Anyway, nice mess
>>2698220
>use a cheap 100$ monitor

it cost about €560 when I bough it and it still performs like it actually
>>2698226
>Hmm gee wonder if that has more to do with their actual value or if it's just contrarianism.
it has more to do with how they sound to be honest
I don't mean you can't produce good sounding stuff using them, I mean they aren't remotely accurate or faithful to what you're reproducing, and since it seems you have enough money to buy a good pair judging from the rest of the stuff in your room and the fact that you work with them I'm saying you will likely benefit from getting a better pair
>Anyway, nice mess
heh
yeah I should clean this shit up tomorrow
>>2698237
one of my friends thrives in disorganized stuff but I find disorganization to completely fuddle my brain, idunno that's just me.
sadly I don't have much money, especially not for monitors. when I upgrade I want to get something I don't have to ever replace, so we're talking a couple grand. most of my stuff was gotten either cheep or it's been slowly collected for like 15 years. so really, i have amassed a good collection slowly but on any given day i'm still a poorcunt
