How do you store your lenses?
>>2690776
Not like that.
I have a telephoto up my bum at all times
If you own over 5, you are a stupid normie. you probly save up to get AF.
Also fuck Cannon... unless you are shooting wildlife or something that is moving fast.
>>2690792
>implying you need 5 lenses at most.
hmm let me guess
1200mm
600mm
300mm
200mm
100mm
Now if I could only get that nice wide angle shot
>>2690902
24mm
35mm
85mm
70-200mm
200-500mm
thank goodness i'm not a gearfag
inb4 poorfag, cheapfag, or noob
>>2690927

>>2690902
>implying that your photos matter
>>2690902
>no 2000mm
Why even bother?
>>2690792
>If you own over 5, you are a stupid normie.
I don't think you quite understand what "normie" means.
If you had paid attention to photography instead of cameras, you could have filled that wall up with some nice pictures instead.
>>2690776
Throw them in a drawer with some other junk.
They are lenses, not babies.
>>2690985
What if that's what I do with my babies?
>>2690965
someone with a disposable income exceeding what you'd get from autism benefits I suppose
I have two AF lenses (hopefully it will be 3 soon), 2 standard M42 (58 and 28mm), two portrait M42 lenses (70-210mm and 135mm bokeh monster) and a Pentax-A mount manual tele 400mm
All neatly packed away in a DIY drybox.
>>2690927
regular fag, then
I have 8 lenses for my Nikon F2. I keep one on the camera and store the others on a shelf. As soon as I go outside the dust is 1000x worse than indoors so no point in being a pussy on the storage.
>dose Nikkor mf primes
>dat 20-35L Canon
>dat 80-200L magic drainpipe
>>2691963
i'm not sure how that gif applies.
>>2690776
Stuff on the bottom shelf looks like it'll fall over any second now.
For myself, I seem to be satisfied with
14mm
24-70mm
85mm
Living in a city I don't see a need for 200+mm but I do understand its uses. Maybe down the line when I become more interested in shooting the moon or move someplace with a little more space for my frame.
50mm
70-210mm
i just leave them in the bag with some silica packets and my DSLR :\
Only gear I own are a Nikon D40 with its 18-55 kit lens and a Tamron 70-300 which all fit perfectly in a single small bag
I keep all mine on a shelf but would like a better suggestion, might but them in a box and put that box on the shelf.
On my shelves in the library.
you lens faggots. when will you learn that at a certain point no body cares about the lens as it becomes apparent when looking at the damn photograph.
>>2692961
how do they not all slide off?
>>2693005
Magnets
>>2690776
Animals and bugs here.
150-600 tamron
70-200 2.8
90 macro
50 1.8
18-50 kit lens. I just use it at 18mm.
I'd like to maybe get a fast wide angle but otherwise feel pretty good about what I have.
They're stored in a padded bag on a shelf.
>>2693017
How do you like the 150-600?
D5100 with the 18-55 or the 35 on it and the 55-300 all fit in my nikon shoulder bag and I have another bag if dont feel like taking all
>>2693100
Love it. That lens is very good for the asking price. I bought it to replace an older 300 f/4 and TC combo. Surprisingly good AF speed, good image quality throughout the zoom range at f/8. Aperture is of course your main trade-off with this Tamron. Outdoor daylight only for moving subjects.
I think it's a great all around long range zoom for intermediate hobbyists and budget conscious. Particularly considering the next step up in quality is thousands of dollars more. Even if I had a 600 f/4, i would still keep this lens around just because of the versatility of the zoom range.
I have these nikkors:
24mm f2.8 ais
35 f2 af-d
50mm 1.8 ais
55mm micro 3.5 ais
80-200mm f.4,5 ais
135 f3.5 ais
I mostly shoot video with a7s
do I miss something?
>>2690966
what an execution
>>2690776
on my camera 'cause I'm always shooting
I store them in lens bags.
Nikkor 35-70 2.8
Sigma 30 1.4
Tokina 11-16 2.8
Any recommendations in cost x benefit 2.8 teles? (DX or FX)
>>2690776
Umm, I don't because they're in my bag so I can use them...
>>2693017
this is almost exactly the set up i want
Tamron 150-600
Tamron or Nikkor 70-200/2.8
Tokina 100/2.8 macro
50/1.8 G
some phatass wide-angle
>>2692961
All that gear but the photo still looks like it was taken with a phone camera
I only have two. 18-55mm and 50-200mm. One stays on the camera and the other stays in the bag with the camera. It's a tight fit but the perfect fit for just the camera and two lenses.

The 20-35 ƒ2.8 is quite good. Bought it recently for a fair price (beat-up exterior for 180€).
