beat me to it
>>2690006
any Canon DSLR also
>>2689992
tbh i love the lcd panel on the top, but otherwise the thing is built like an MF body but with only a "full frame". for the price, might as well start looking at a phase one or something.

>the thing is built like an MF body but with only a "full frame"
Sounds like a full frame GH4
>>2690043
this. looks cheap and plasticky.
Nice meme.
Looks like a bad student design project.

Any SLR styled digital camera.
FIlm cameras were a lot more interesting.
>>2691043
But the most beautiful film camera of all time is basically just the Proto-DSLR?
You should see my Panasonic G7 with the Nikon Reflex-C 500mm.
>>2690043
not trying to be a sony fag but I like the more squared off designs of the a7 and a6000, compare old film cams designs to any current cannon/nikon and you'll see that the cannon and nikons look really toyish and dildo like.
>>2691237
Unlike Canons, Nikons still have some sharp edges.
>>2691058
>proto-DSLR
>>2691288
That's cause their basic design hasn't changed much since the F5
>>2690982
Feels it too.
D300, D610, even D90 feel much more robust than any Canon IMO.
>>2691058
tbh I have the T90 and it really is the masterpiece of the FD series. It feels a lot like my 5d for obvious reasons....it's very comfortable to hold and feels very solid in the hands.
I wouldn't call it the most beautiful film camera of all time but as far as 35mm is concerned it's definitely a looker. I can't find any faults with it...........yet
>>2691318
Reminds me how my gf had a rabal and d3000 at once. Despite better specs, she rarely used Canon because it felt like an empty plastic shell.
On a side note, after 2 years of relationship I turned her into a sonyfag :^)
>>2690772
Why not just go medium format?
>>2691572
>faults
no shutter lock and the dreaded EEE error
also no mirror lockup but i dont really care about that
>>2692514
I hate sounding like a complete tard but everyone talks about mirror lockup and I don't even know what it its.
>>2692534
It locks the mirror in the "up" position to minimize vibrations for long exposures. Mirror slap can fuck that shit right up.
>>2691318
M8 my 350d is built like a brick shithouse, the thing has almost no flex to it yet it can still survive a fall of over a meter without anything more than a few scratches
>>2691572
>I can't find any faults with it
Sugar, you couldn't find your own dick if you tried.
>>2692514
>no shutter lock and the dreaded EEE error
Ah, but you'd need to actually take photos for the EEE error to manifest, so Sugar's just fine.
Most FD cameras have slick shutters though. The cheap T-Series are an exception.
I think most bookbinding machines run smoother and quieter than my T70.
>>2689998
the sonys are beautiful
>>2695421
>orange ring
>beautiful
>>2691058
DSLRs weren't around until the mid to late 90s, the T90 came out in the mid 80s
>>2692537
But you can't see anything, meaning that a setting to lock the mirror in its down position would be more practical as you could still see the scene through the viewfinder
>>2695432
You lock the mirror up after you've done all the seeing that you need to do. It's for static scenes that don't change.
>>2689992
Those tits don't look that big or deformed.
>>2695432
>lock the mirror in its down position
Then it will block the senor silly.
Also mirror up just means you press the shutter twice.
First time moved the mirror, second takes the picture.
You can do it pretty fast if you don't require complete vibration free.
>>2695432
If you lock the mirror down, your light can't hit your sensor, and you have a small interchangeable lens telescope.
>>2695432
>lock the mirror in its down position
