Hey guys!
Was wondering if you could give me some feed-back/tips on a movie i just made. How to improve my skills in photoshop and sonyvegas.
Thanks alot :)

At this point you'll get the most from glidecam or anti-shake software.
I'm taking a photography contest here in Brazil, wonder if you may help me by voting. Don't want to cheat so only vote if you think it's a good picture, which i believe it is. Thank you guys! here's the link: http://wshe.es/ERxK6QVd

What's the theme? I can't seem to figure one out looking though the other pictures
>>2789709
Black and white does not work for this image. It's way too busy, and the subjects are completely lost in a sea of busy competing tones. The pole and sky on the left are also really out of place.
>>2789709
Okay. But your photo sucks.
Hi /p/, I found a shitty camera in a box that's been laying in storage for at least 15 years, probably longer. Inside was this roll of film. Can the photos on it be developed or is it too late? I was told that film goes bad.
>>2789686
Film can lose some of it's features when stored incorrectly or after the expiration date. This is usually a loss of contrast or a change of color.
Just try it, getting a film developed isn't that expensive and the results could be interesting.
You have to find a place that does 126 film processing unless you are going to do it yourself.
>>2789740
also if it's faded etc you can always try and restore contrast and such in the scans with photoshop
Advice needed,

Ask to see their previous work, pick the one you like most. It's your wedding, not /p/'s,
whats the go with, owning the rights to the photos, even though you are paying someone to take the photos, is it true that they own the material until they sell/give the rights of the image? even though they are hired for that reason?
>>2789578
Just one thing about wedding photography and pricing.
Why are you having a wedding? It is a big day. A once in a life time event that you will reflect back on when you and your partner are old. Sitting back in your comfy couch in front of a crackling fire place you will reminisce over fading photo albums and foggy memories. Memories of the day you and your wife/husband will say your vows, eat a fancy meal, get drunk and have the best night of your life.
Your photographer? He will be lugging around...

videography question
what do you think they are using to shoot this to get all that bokeh? does it have to be an SLR camera? or is it just post-processing? if so, which program can do that for you?

Also, fast primes.
Who's the creepy fat guy stalking a poor girl at a party in the guise of a "tutorial"?

It's an okay lesson for beginners. Stop making meaningless threads
>>2789345
> fat guy stalking poor girl in the guise of a "tutorial"
you're thinking of reddit.
>>2789345
I thought this would be a guy following a random girl around at a party, but this is just the guy's friends that want to help him make a video.
Nothing wrong with this video.
***LEGAL QUESTION***
so /p/
my girlfriend is a cam model and we decided to go do a shoot at a park involving some nudity. For the most part it was very innocent stuff like flashes etc but she did get full nude behind a tree at one point.
The park in mention is a state park and after taking the pictures I realized I was kind of in a gray area regarding ~legal~ things. These pictures will be sold for a profit and I feel like if she only posts ones where shes nude and there are no discernible specific features of the park I'm safe? These pictures are also...

You know your fucking lying... she is probably a heifer, and youre gonna sell the pictures on FarmersOnly.com.
>>2789090
>Whoring your girlfriend out.
God damn degenerates, you deserve the punishment you'll get.
>>2789090
This isn't a gray area, it's full on illegal. Melissa Midwest was arrested three times for public indecency because of filming in public.
The biggest thing if you're going to do this is make sure the location is *not* identifiable. That way they don't know what jurisdiction to prosecute in.
Granted, it's a low chance risk, but it's still a risk.
Sup guys. I need a flexible solution for my camera bag. I'm looking for a protective case (rigid/padded) for my camera + one fitted lens.
I shoot a Fuji XE2 and the biggest lens I'll mount, that needs to fit in the case, is the 56mm f/1.2
Requirements are:
No excessive space/size (should be a snug fit)
Belt mountable
Water resistant (or with a rain cover)
Available in the EU
I keep my spare lenses in lowepro lens cases, but their camera bags are gash.
Thinking a Crumpler Base Layer camera pouch (pic related), any other suggestions guys?
Use the catalog next time.

And this is why I don't come to /p/
That's not a 'general photography bag' thread that's a 'post YOUR bag' thread.
tl;dr mommy didn't love you and now you're a faggot to strangers on the internet.
>>2789075
Can't really help you since you are in the EU. I would recommend the Think tank mirroless mover 5. It's mostly weather proof and also comes with a rain cover. It's belt mountable and you can take off the strap it comes with.
so i wanna use a speedlite with my nikon p900, however, as some might know, it doesnt have a hotshoe, doesnt have commander mode, and only has a usb/hdmi port.
whats the best way to trigger any external speedlites?
>>2788883
I don't think it's commonplace, but what if you got a button and stuck it on top of the shutter button and used that to trigger the speedlight? All it needs from the hotshoe is to have its circuit closed, yeah?
Since you're going down this gear-laden path you may just want to get a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a hotshoe instead of a bridge cam.
>he fell for the bridge meme
>>2788888
also nice get
>>2788883
If it has its own pop up flash, you can use it to trigger an optical slave flash like a Yongnuo, and you can put a flash card (or something) in front of the on-board flash to keep it from hitting your subject directly.
Hello /p/ i have a weird question
How can i take a picture to give a "Burial" feeling? What clothes should i wear and what filters should i use?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHtNPzaHO7k
I want to give a dark and atmospheric feeling to my picture
>>2788839
what, do you expect us to have synesthesia op? how about you put that feeling music gives you into words, describe the look you visualise and work from there
>>2788839
Dark and atmospheric? Well you could underexpose, drop the highlights and white level, and then raise the blacks. Look up matte and haze tutorials.
Avoid really harsh lighting like the sun at morning or evening. You could theoretically work with it but just as a general guideline. Dim lights are also good but remember you can always lower the exposure in post, don't end up giving yourself unusable shadows.
Wide aperture to soften the image and isolate the subject. Maybe some motion blur from a slow...

Freelensing. It's when you disconnect your lens and only hold it up to the body. Gets dreamy real quick and you can introduce some odd blur.
Hello /p/ros.
Wedding photog here, found my portrait work has become very stale of late so borrowed a couple yesterday to take some experimental shots with some wilder compositions.
Main goals were to push myself to use primes only, try a list of ideas I have stolen from other photographers mainly considering the use of negative space and really nail separation of subject from the background.
Constructive abuse gratefully received.

Well guys, I don't really know how to ask for this:
I'm software developer, and I'm creating my portfolio now. Nothing too fancy, but I want to put some photos of me with my laptop on the header, just because I want to send a kind of "hey, I'm a real nerd" to the rest of the world.
I'm looking for some inspiration for it, just some photos of people doing "nerdie" and looking cool with a computer.
Would you help me with this? I really hope so.
Oh, and forgive my poor english and the unrelated photo!

Got it when I was 15,
5MP, took 2 AA batteries, which lasted less than 100 shots, had a decent optical zoom, ridiculous blues, and was tiny. I took the best astro photos with this, holding the lens up to my telescope.
A royal piece of shit, but I used it a ton.
It's in a drawer next to me right now.
Cybershot U series.
Used to have a U50. Now have a U30 that I found at Goodwill a couple months ago; and realized that shiny spot in the front is a selfie mirror.
