Show me that Nazi glass
I own one of these. Mine is kind of dusty though. It's been sitting on a shelf for decades. I should clean it and see if it still functions... It takes 120 film so that won't be a problem.
Zeiss Ikon Box Camera, 1933 Vintage. 30€ on eBay, really good, just that darn fungus...
I have this thing. The body and lens are in great shape, sadly the gigantic cloth FP shutter is shredded. It's from somewhere around 1900, maybe even earlier.

Anyone here ever work with timelapse footage? Lately i've been getting into it and I suck. I use a shitty FujiFilm Finepix (saving for an upgrade) and Movie Maker (which is awful)
Any suggestions on how to improve my work would be awesome.
Heres some of my shitty last two things as an example.

Well, yeah. Some of you may be hearing about our situation here. Protests against the government of Mrs. Rousseff and the Workers' Party continue, as our economy deteriorates and Petrobras' scandal involving major politicians from most parties is unfolded. We also had some pro-government protests, but the fact* is the majority of brazilians want the end of Mrs. Rousseff government. On March 13th, Brazil saw the biggest protest in its history, with more than 3 million people** attending the movement across the country -- protests against the government. I went to the biggest one, in São Paulo, but unfortunately I haven't many photos from that day because of... reasons. Anyway, protests are becoming common here as we approach the conclusion of all this, so here's something from what I've been doing in the last weeks...
(I'm afraid this first one is the best, I guess, so I'm sorry. Also, as always, sorry for my bad english).
*This statement is supported by any survey here without big percentages variation, although some institutes that do these surveys are regard as biased.

Delta 400 is also Ilford.
And I think it's a better film personally. Cleaner and smallerfeeling grain. Lovely mid-tones.
I tend to shoot HP5 more because I can get it cheaper but I definitely like Delta 400 better of the two.

You seem to have missed focus on that image.
Taking photos on film and scanning them therafter is like writing texts on a typewriter, scanning the paper sheets and applying OCR on it. Film does not look better. You can create any look you want with the digital files, so why not use the best available input source? And this is the raw file from a digital camera.

I like medium format and cannot afford a medium format digital camera. Also I like the operation of film cameras more, in general. I can't stand thumb wheels and menu buttons.

Starting a new one because OP of the other one running at the moment is a moron, and doesn't appreciate the need for an on topic OP image and text to generate engagement.

What do you think I was doing while wating for a answer?
>>2804054
So what you're saying is that you asked us, and THEN went off to try to do research... why not reverse that next time?
have you learned anything of value from browsing /p/?
gif unrelated.
Yes definitely. It has taken a long time but you slowly learn useful things.
Examples? Probably when I ask for a portfolio review or critique on a large set of images. Someone good sometimes shows up and opens your eyes to some pretty serious problems
I rarely if ever get inspired by any pictures on here but some of the advice is pretty solid
>>2803468
Nobody knows what the fuck they are talking about
I've learned that I should throw my camera in the trash. That I should delete all photos I've ever taken. That I should NEVER use a larger format just because I can. That I should just die in a fire. That a photo divided at the horizon with all white on the top and all black on the bottom is "MUH ART", and that 3 or so members of /p/ are the final arbiters on whether or not a photo is interesting.
