Since a third of the year is over I thought I'd make a thread with my favorites until now.
It feels like a slow year, but I've made a few shots I like.
Self curating is my worst skill (inb4 taking photos is) so I'll just post whatever shots I like for whatever reason.
Posting in no particular order.

Well... yeah. As stated in >>2821813, on April 17th, Brazil stopped to watch
the voting for the impeachment process of Mrs. Rousseff in our lower house --
which took place after more than two days of uninterrupted debate and lasted
more than six hours. It was a big, big deal -- the most important political
happening in our recent history. The last time a president faced such trial
was almost 24 years ago...
Pro- and anti-impeachment protesters gathered in different places to follow
the voting process. We had an idea of the results, but this didn't make the
whole thing easier for anyone who was watching everything... I mean, anything
could happen, after all. We were watching a decisive moment, and I tried to
photograph that. I went to the biggest protests -- the pro-impeachment.

The process started at 2pm, with party leaders stating the party's position about the impeachment. Party's positions were only a guidance to their lawmakers; the final decision was individual. Two-thirds of our lower house -- or 342 lawmakers -- had to say "yes" for the impeachment process in order to pass the motion.

some advice on fashion hair-shoot please! - k, so i've been assigned a photoshoot together with a rather profesionall makeupartist, hairdresser, stylist in my region. we know each other a little since before so im sure everything will go smoothly but she makes quite high demands on everything and i want to make sure im giving my 100% when working with her and the male model who is going to be styled. photoshoot will take place in her own big apartment, lots o natural light and during the day, ill bring a big octabox but would like to try stay away from artificial lights if i can and only use natural.. what do you think? this is kind of my first bigger profesional fashion "hair-shoot" (directed to mostly haristyles) of this particular blonde male model, and perhaps also suits from a brand in the region.. she spoke about making blonde cornrows ... - What are some general advice or things to keep in mind when shooting hair? Typical lighting to consider? Im quite new within the area of hair and very thankful for any advice I can get.. pic related, some of her earlier shoots, blonde model also related, its the guy we gonna shoot.. thanks

Film General Thread, aka FGT.

This is the thread for all of your stupid film questions, and to post your film snapshits without flushing them down the RPToilet.
It's OK to ask about film gear in this thread.

And have a cat photo taken with OP cam and film.
The OM20 is a very nice camera for low light; the auto metering was perfect for the whole roll, shot in dim loungeroom at night lighting.
Reasonably slick shutter helps too, this was probably about 1/8 at f/1.8.

Also, worth discussing.
Is /p/ black and white illiterate?
I knew that using a B&W shot as OP would probably hurt the thread, however I really prefer the idea of having the /fgt/ OP being a film shot, and I don't really shoot that much colour.
But it's my general observation that B&W OP threads sink like a rock on this board.

>Gearfag gets it over to Ken Rockwell in the box... and he puts it in the back of the net!
Is there interest on this board for a 4chan Cup team? We're one of the only older boards without a team.
If you're not familiar this is a virtual soccer tournament played in Pro Evolution Soccer between boards where select players representing board memes/culture and managers choose tactics and is CPU vs CPU. It's a lot more fun than it sounds.
With the amount of new boards we have an opportunity to get a team and representation. But we need to show interest and start to work on the following.
>Rosters
Think about /p/ memes or photography in general. Because you can use custom faces/heads and shit it can be pretty great - like if we put Jared Polin on the team we could have the Fro.
Here's some of the ones I was thinking of, but people can add more and we can vote on it.

We'd also have to choose a captain of the group which could be a vote.
>Manager
If anyone on /p/ has PES experience that would be ideal. However we could also use a former manager of other boards.
>Logo and Uniforms
Coming up with a logo and uniform that matches the team. This would involve picking colors.
>Board anthem & Goal Songs
Anthems are played at the start of the match and should represent /p/.
We can also have a goal horn to be played when /p/ scores, you can also have player specific ones. So if a certain player scores you can play a song.
