My husky recently passed away, and this is the only good photo of him that I can place next to his urn. This was originally shot on my Canonet rangefinder, put there was a problem with the processing and the color came out odd. It's always bothered me, and I've tried to fix it but every time I only make it worse.
Could anyone help me get a more natural look so my red husky isn't purple?

I understand if the other images you have aren't "good" by your standards, especially to be put next to the urn. However if you would please, uploading a few others might give us a better depth and understanding of the husky himself.
I can't help much with the editing, but my condolences for your doge. I just lost mine as well, on Saturday, and in 11 years never managed to get a decent photo of him. (He was in a product ad a few years ago, so at least I have some nice professional photos of him, just not ones I took.)
Is there a site, that lets me upload photos, so my model can look at them but not download? i don't want her to download the photos and put on facebook before i've edited them.
Have you considered working with professionals instead of school children?

You can load them to flickr and turn off downloading, but she could still screenshot, or go into the page source and find it there.
Better to just send her low res (like 600 pixels) with a watermark across the middle.

Thoughts on Adam? Aka Le 21eme
https://le21eme.com/
I find his work to be very inspiring. He puts out consistently amazing shots. What is his editing process like? All of his photos are vibrant yet dark at the same time. I can die a happy man if I could emulate his style of photography.
>>2847392

so when you say "nothing special" meaning? I dont see this kind of darker look in a lot of street photography. I mean, he is kind of a one trick pony when it comes to the bokeh on literal everything but it still looks great.

If you were designing your dream digital camera, let's say it had a full frame sensor, what would be the megapixel count? Surely you don't want to cram a bunch pickles in one jar. So what would you say is the sweet spot?
>>2847361
what a qt.
also, fuck you OP.
Probs somewhere between 24-36 I think... Anymore than 36 then there's too much detail to worry about (more visible flaws = more time photoshop)
>>2847361
All I want is an 8mpx full frame censor.
Well, for 35mm this setup (700d + kitlens) just does not work properly. Medium format 6x7 however is very okay. However, I think I finally have a reason to get the goddamn 100mm L 2.8 lens. Manually focusing in tethered shooting should be cool with it as well since you don't get all the goddamn noise in liveview with that aperture. What do you use for film scanning? Any particular tips how I can improve my setup right here?
All that white light causes lens flare and lowers the contrast of your scans. Mask off all the light that isn't behind your film with something opaque like black construction paper.
>>2846298
Thank you very much!
>>2846295
Nice setup. I have a similar one where I place 2 pieces of cardboard with a piece of plexiglass in between held together by clamps. I then illuminate the negatives with a super bright tractor light that I have

I have tested a 6D and I fell in love with full frame.
I don't benefit from apsc right now and I don't think I will until I can afford a very hefty set of lenses like 300mm for birds and wildlife where I live.
Gear question from a noob here. I have no photography skills, semi shaky hands but an ok sense of aesthetic(aka i think most things look like shit).
I want to buy a camera that will be used while travelling, I have no intentions of ever printing any of my photos and probably will never buy extra lenses. I despise photos with grain/bad colours. Most my photos will be cityscape and I really like low light photos. Would really like the option of doing timelapse. It will be used to show cool views to friends and family.
Things that are important to me is photo quality,...

>I don't benefit from apsc right now
Because Canon is behind the competition by 2-3 EV in sensor performance.
The only thing keeping the market share is the (pretty nice) lens lineup. Try a Nikon or Pentax APS-C and you will see the huge difference. The 70D (80D) is a step in the right direction, but still not as good as the competition.
hi /p/, is it cheating to use the light meter while shooting in manual?
This is basically P program/priority mode except slower and more error prone

Real life isn't highschool.
What are you going to do, play a little game called 'exposure roulette' or are you gonna take the damn photo?
>>2844769
Saged.
Using the meter in manual is derogatorily known around these parts as "needle matching".
You should use the histogram, as it's more accurate and allows for more control.
