Hey /p/! I'm working on making a print for my Grandpa for Christmas. I just want a little input on the editing process. Related pic is the original scan of the negative, and the below post is where I am with the editing process so far.
>>2721922
And here's the current edit. Note that I have not finished clean up yet.
>>2721922
I didn't open your photos and neither did anyone else because they're almost 5mb and 3800*2534.
But what I can see from the thumbnails these photots are shit
>>2721928
Thank man.
Does /p/ use Flickr?
Why or why not?

I do, all my photos look better when uploaded. I think they add some sharpening filters or some shit. Usually find some pretty good photographers there, but the favourite and group system sucks because of the attention whore community.
The comments are useless, I go on to see discussion about a photo and all I see is "You've won an award" posted like 10 times in a row. Other than that 1TB free cloud space is class.
i made this photo with a videocamera, don't have a good camera, soo

i'm guessing you took this because you like the way the light bounces off the wall, and the light shows that it's raining. but it's a boring photo - there's nothing to draw one's eye around the photo or to the subject, and once one looks at the lamp in the center, that's pretty much all there is to it.
to contrast, check out this photo. red ceiling by eggleston. it's also just a light, but one's eyes are led to it by the wires (leading lines), and the unusually strong...

It's fake. All they have is pictures on someone's cellphone and a few 'eyewitness' accounts. Don't need to be an expert in photography to figure that out

I am not sure about that. There is no any motive this people would lie.

There's not much really worth commenting on yet blood, keep going and you'll start getting into the swing of producing decent portraits but for now your pp is inconsistent and there's no real sign of any composition. Also please dont watermark your images, for your own sake. You may not realise it now but it just makes you look really foolish
