How does Luke Fontana (or whoever processes his stuff) achieve this look? It seems like just 1 or 2 lights but how's the color grade done? I can't put my finger on it.

Post movies with great lighting or generally well composed shots. I know there are a few out there but none spring to mind other than the lighting in Skyfall.

That happens a lot at night. What were you hoping for?
>without a tripod
Well, you can do a makeshift one by propping the camera on something like a wall or railing, but hand held? No.

>640 iso
>13 second exposure
why not just go wider open turn the iso down and do a bit longer of an exposure
other than that I feel like the composition is pretty weak but I absolutely adore the colors
Once I noticed the tree in the lower left corner I couldn't stop staring at it. Maybe you could have traveled a bit more to the right, or maybe this is just the best spot you find.
That color is awesome though.
I don't know that the higher iso takes too much away, it's a stylistic choice. The noise works with that light haze in an interesting way.

Does anyone know about this filter/effect ? Can I use it with a specific app on my iPhone?

How does one into photojournalism. I'm not really talking about being a staff photographer for Reuters. Do any of these guys/gals just go shoot images of events and cold call newspapers? This sort of photography was always the kind that kind of got me excited about things. The necessity of telling a story, exposing well (esp when RIP RAW Reuters), composing well etc. And most of all, getting balls deep in the shit. Getting some photos.
So far the best I can do is wait for a gay pride march or something outside and take pictures of police and gays in contrast.
Is there some way I can get my ear to the ground and find out about important events around that are worth photographing?

So my mom, who does at home sales and is very successful at it, is thinking of starting up a graphic T shirt business on the side because she's bored. She asked me to be the photographer and to edit the photos if necessary because I went to school to be a video editor so on the editing side I'm solid. Do you guys have any tips on how to pose models for simple graphic T's? Also should I show their faces like the picture I posted or just crop off the neck and only worry about the shirt?
>>2726588
just shoot uncle terry style so its hip
