142 KB,
Good morning /p/,

I took this photo a while back and didn't bother to shop out the blutack holding the nut shells in place.
However, an Anon pointed it out when I posted the pic, but seeing as I hardly ever manipulate my photos (apart from basics to do with exposition, tint etc.) I'm stuck on how to get rid of the blutack and keep it looking clean.

I'm not demanding an outright explanation, but just a few mechanisms or optimal tools that I can look up for myself.

pic related is the one doing my head in.

Thanks for your time guys.

You could either cut the shells out, put a white background on it and paint in the shadows, or you can use the clone stamp. It's a bit tricky, you want to make sure to match the tones of the shadows properly

Thanks for the reply, I think photoshop is a lost cause on this one...as they say, you can't polish a turd.
I'll re-shoot I guess, and this time round I won't be a dipstick.

Having said that, I did try clone stamping, and it was a disaster...

Merry Christmas, /p/, I present to you my gift to the board for putting up with my shit all year.

The time of the Great Sugar Thread is upon us. There will probably be a couple reposts I'm sure, it is a Sugar thread after all it's almost expected at this point. The last 6 months have been a blur and I can barely remember what loads I picked up or where I have been let alone what I posted on an anonymous image board.

I dislike them because they're on some weird pedestal that I never understood. You can do street photography with ANY camera. Leicas and rangefinders don't offer any kind of advantage. It is gear whoring at its finest.

I'm thinking about getting into b&w film.

What are the differences between Kodak Tri-X and T-Max?

Or does anyone prefer Ilford b&w film?

Tri-X is GOAT BW film. Ridiculous exposure latitude even Kodak themselves says you can push it to 1600. Mega contrast.

Tmax has finer grain and not as much latitude. You can still blow your exposure by quite a bit though. Tmax 100 is nice for long exposure or landscape.

Learn on Tri-X though, the large exposure latitude will let you fuck up quite a bit and still have a workable image.

T-Max is a modern tabular grain film (as are Ilford Delta & Fuji Neopan) while Tri-X is an older non tabular grain film. So T-Max will theoretically provide more detail (I think Kodak still claim it as the world's finest grain b&w film) while Tri-X will give you a more 'traditional' look.

Tri-X @ 1600 is indeed love (picrelated) & supposedly it's more forgiving to bad development than T-Max, which is why I started with it.

Don't rely on us to make the choice for you though - buy a few different rolls & decide for yourself...

Find the most expensive return postage and get your money back whilst fucking over the untrustworthy seller.

This is why i try and buy my stuff from japan, if you get fucked over you get to usually keep the item because the return recorded postage on a camera is about £60. No one wants to pay that for broken camera stuff.

Never return an item not with recorded post.

Which camera? My Agat 18K developed a sticking problem and I fixed it by taking the camera apart. The problem was that the spring inside the winder knob had gotten crooked because I wound it too hard/far when advancing the film. Was an easy enough fix.

Is anyone familiar with copyright law regarding Facebook? I shared photos on my personal photo page, as well as another group page.
(I also have these photos on Flickr with specific usage policy that they cannot be used for commercial use without my permission).

A major news station here used 6 of these photos in a 6 minute long news story. They conveniently put their segment logo over my watermark, and did not credit me in any way.

I work my butt off taking pictures and doing shoots, I don't think this is ok.

I found a PDF on Facebook photo copyright law/fair usage... but I'm no lawyer.

For me it was this piece of shit:

I bought it a few years ago at a walmart out of curiosity because it was the cheapest digital camera they had. Even in bright sunlight it can't take a usable photo. pic related is in "low resolution mode." The high res photos don't look much better.
It also stored all photos in internal memory, so if the batteries...
