1 MB,
Sorry for the silly question, but both of these images were taken with the same camera.
Why is quality of the images so different? left is more fuzzy, right is is more crisp and "higher quality"
4 replies and 1 images submitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>2748626
The left is pretty obviously a 100% crop in on the image (maybe even more) and the right isn't. Also, assuming its an interchangeable lens camera, lenses have a tremendous effect on the final product. As does light, processing, and the technique of the artist.

despite what /p/ will tell you, a quality image comes from a talented artist, not a more expensive camera with high numbers on a test chart.

Good thing we don't have a thread for stuff like that >>2723069

The ISO was most likely higher on the left picture. ISO controls the sensitivity of your sensor, controlling how it reacts to light. The higher your ISO, the brighter your pictures. ISO 100 won't give you good results in the dark, while ISO 16000 does .. for a price though: noise.
The sensor noise is what you see in your picture, the ISO was simply too high and...

What are some expressions you ask for from models when you shoot them?

Like take this picture for example, what would you ask the model to do to pull this face?

These are just snapshots. Anyone who is physically able can hold a camera, point it at something, and press the shutter button. Don't over think what you're doing but at least make a conscious decision about what you are photographing and why. Otherwise you're doing something that google street view could do much better.

Also, buy lots of alcohol gel.

266 KB,
I need a 1x adapter to use a Nikon D610 (F-mount) with a C-mount microscope. I have absolutely no idea what brand or type of adapter is better, one piece adapter, mutiple piece set? wich brand should I try first? everything I found so far is confusing or looks cheap and I dont want the adapter to break or pop out. Also, found several adapters for F-mount body to C-Mount lenses, will any of them do the job or this is a really stupid question?.

the microscope manufacturer usually also offers some adapter. I got one with photo ocular, but it magnifies a little too much for my taste. Adapter consists of 4 pieces: Lens, adapter that goes into the ocular mount of the microscope, tubus and adapter t2 to camera mount.

So people keep saying how digital can be made to look like film as long as everything is correctly exposed.

Well I am ready to learn. Can someone teach me? For example how to make your digital photographs look like Kodachrome or Porta?

lel fuck off and do your own work. You can take 30 photos in 10 minutes. You didn't even tell us what the brief was
>>
>>2747626
I'm accepting photos of pretty much anything that you think wouod be accepted. From nature to photo illusions to patterns. I would do my own work but I completely forgot it was due. Which is a habit of mine. I'd grab some old photos I've taken in the past but my SD card is corrupted.

I would do it for $2 per photo.
