Probably a fuji user. No sony user would do this as the great low light performance on the sony A7Rii would not require that long of an exposure or such a prolonged stream of sparks. Fucking pisses me off.
what in the holy hell possessed them to make a fucking APS-H camera in 2016?
I actually kind of love how delightfully bonkers Sigma can be sometimes. SA mount is a stupid thing to do, though, they'd be much smarter to offer it in F or EF and pitch it to Canikon shooters who want a mirrorless option that shares lenses with their systems.
>We could have 100 MP full frame sensors - for both mirrorless and dSLR - with PDAF for under 2,000$
>This will never happen because all relevant camera manufacturers are extremely racist, xenophobic, backwards japs who refuse to use the immensely superior fab tech of non-japanese companies (Intel, TSMC, Samsung)
>We are literally on early 1990s era processing fab technology and it will never change just because Japs are fucking retards.
Welp, something i made recently (article also mine if you read spanish). A ritual battle with slingshots, stones and some melee weapons. It takes plaze every january 20th in Canas province in cusco, peru.
Why is there a need to resize photos on /p/ if it is concerned with all photography? Wouldn't you want to post your work in all its HD glory if you had a high-end camera? I don't see OC threads on /hr/...
Can we do a car thread? I don't actually have any vehicle photos except for ones I edited when I shit drunk and thought they were cool. Show me some photos of Cars, Vehicles, trucks, anything with 2 or more wheels and an engine /p/haggots
I'm a professional photographer, and I would like to say how even my worst will always trump your best. I have an IQ of 160, and this world just doesn't seem to please me, but the asthmatic of nature keeps me bounded to life, and I love showing even the least informed my godly talents.
Hi /p/ could you please go to my Website and tell me what you think about my pic's? Started with Photography about 6 month ago. Please be honest and tell me what i can do better :) If you want then you can leave a comment in the guestbook. This would be awesome! :)
So I own similar to pic related and am thinking about using for powering studio strobes as battery pack. Q1: what is best way to estimate battery life other than just trial and error? Q2: what other battery packs are on the market and are they worth a damn for remote lighting?
>>2771517 if it would even work, you will need a DC to AC converter, once it is all hooked up you can probably expect 10-50 strobes depending on your lights draw.
Q1 - trial and error
Q2 - Profoto makes a decent battery pack that will give you 150 strobes at full power, using their 600w monoblocks, it has a regular AC out so you can use any lights but results may very. Dynalite makes a good kit for their lights, I almost bought into their system, it is quite nice and compact. Speedotron has an ancient... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Battery capacity in Ah (amp-hours) divided by the current draw of the load. In practice it will be about 30% worse than the calculation. If there isn't any Ah rating on the product you could open it to check the battery itself, or just test it.
Do you consider a photographer if she / he use a smartphone to take the photo? What exactly defines a photographer? Is camera that he uses or passion? Does matters if you use automatic or a pro one? Thanks!

Let's admit the things that /p/ will insult and ridicule us for!
>I really like the work of both Lara Jade and Joey L. I'm actually pretty stoked that they hit the success lottery too because they both seem pretty chill and are genuinely passionate about photography.
>>2770237 >lara jade makes amazing photos for how utterly clueless about all the technical aspects she is a kinda goes to show how unimportant the technical stuff can be compared to having a vision >probably her assistants do most of the planning for her That's true of basically everyone major so I can't really hold that against her.
>>2775416 Yup, that's the reason of the name I guessed too after reading the short autobiography he wrote for the book He's quite the interesting guy, and I discovered lots of pictures in the book that I had never seen before There are some really amazing pictures in it, also you can see a bit better how great he is in the darkroom, he sometimes colours some very small bits of the images, that you may not even catch right away, but as soon as you start really looking you can see the yellow sepia of the light coming out of... >>2775421 Looks interesting, I like the thematic and the pictures of some of those guys, I'll take a look at it !
I also got this one, it's really amazing, I love the pictures in it, how Kenna takes the time out of his pictures, the great composition and sometimes minimalist aspect, it's really great, even his early 35mm work is really inspiring
