I have never been camping in my life.. But I am becoming increasingly interested in prepping and /out/ related skills.
Are there any /out/ recmmended guide for getting into prepping and/or outdoor related skills from basic to advanced to recommended gear etc?

The sticky is surprisingly helpful if you look into it. There are also some great bushcraft books out there, I peronally love Mors Kochanski's Bush Craft.
Other than that the best thing to do is watch loads of youtube videos. I can't recommend any in particular, but there are some really good ones. After a while your interests will develop and you'll find your niche, which makes it much easier to find resources because it's more specific

Something like this pretty much. I'd start out with doing some weekend car-camping and short day-hikes. Eventually get a decent backpack and start doing overnight hikes, then go from there.

So, where you live OP? Some information centres and police stations offer PLBs for hire free of charge, damn helpful and reassuring for anyone.
Prepping? Don't fall for that meme, man. /out/ skills are nice and all. Make sure you get a few friends and go camping, maybe even hiking.

You could say it has a lower chance of being fatal but it has a much higher chance of occurring.
I'm from Europe, so starting consitions and places to go out may be slightly different but this is what I pack more or less. Some things I leave at home for certain trips of course, this is just what I got for the trips I made regarding equipment.
