Wear a bandana (yes yes inb4 faggot etc). They're handy as fuck. Take a few and you can use them for all kinds of shit, even tinder if you want. Cheap as fuck off ebay. Wicks away sweat but still lets it evaporate. Warm in winter, cool in summer. You don't end up banging the brim on shit when you're trying to look at shit close up.
