where can I get fog lights like these?
>>13891752
I honestly don't know. these are old Cibié I found brand new... but they're 30 years old. Look up on Ebay maybe
MKIII Supra, do you like it? Why or why not? I'm considering buying one, because I really like them, but my buddy had one which he restored and modded and tells me they're not as fun as they look.
>>13891619
My brother had one, I always thought it was fun. They're hefty but feel very stable.
- heavy
- slow
- eat brakes
- eat headgaskets
Look cool, drive bad.

>They're hefty but feel very stable.
Those two do tend to go together. Bigger, longer cars tend to be more stable.
Is shoveling necessary when you own an AWD?
>>13891541
yes, even AWD cars get stuck if the snow is bad enough.
If you want to track snow in your house, build up a huge layer of hardback that takes forever to melt and turns a gravel drive into muck when it does, no.
I have a plow service do mine, fuck shoveling
>>13891567
shut the fuck up and stop assuming it snows everywhere for everyone
Hey /o/
I'm gonna go look at some outback sports this weekend. Anyone have any tips on what to look for? Common problems?
I'm looking for a practical, fun daily driver. Anyone own one of these? Would love to get some insight from you guys.
There's nothing fun about these cars they are not only slow but the suspension and weight distribution makes them handle like utter crap.
>>13891509
Headgaskets. The 2.5 Sohc in these used an inferior headgasket and it's known to be a problem. It'll be fun in the snow and you can use almost all the 2.5rs or even some next gen wrx parts on it as the chassis Is very similar
Hey, any saab 900 owners here?
I got my drivers license 2 days ago, and am looking for a 'reliable' car under 1000€ and only cars that really fit that are either Volvo's or Saab's.
Tomorrow I'm test driving a 1989 saab 900i like pic related. Anything to look for/ask the owner?
It's currently driven 300k km, one owner, perfect service book etc. Am I making a mistake?
850€
>>13891443
that appears to be a non-turbo.. which means a bit slow, but that might not be a big deal to you.
one good thing about the non-turbo is that if its a manual, the transmission isn't stressed. The manual transmissions pinion bearing is weak, and will got to crap at 150k to 200k for a turbo, not sure about a non turbo.
So I would check for timing chain stretch and service of the pinion bearing.
if its a one owner car, with all service records its probably been taken care of.. and should be o.k.
Owned a few, not fun working on the front of the engine which is against the firewall because it's longitudinal but backwards. Why?
I'd go with a volvo, much easier to work on and at least here in Murika easier to find parts.
If you get a saab go with a 9000 much nicer and maintenance isn't as difficult
9000 aero>9000cse turbo>900 turbo>900s>900
Try getting a turbo, they hold their value far better, and go for the 3-door.
As a machine it's pretty much invincible.
The local dealerships in town are offering 0% APR for 72 months.
What's the catch? Besides paying for 6 years that sounds pretty awesome. Low monthly payments and no interest right? There has to be some secret jewing going on that I don't understand.
>>13891412
>What's the catch?
You have to qualify for it.
>>13891415
Well fuck. I've only has my credit card for a year so there goes my plans of getting a decent vehicle for a good deal.
>>13891412
instant depreciation
unless the out the door price is lower than a certified used one and it offers an UNLIMITED warranty, then it's just called "sales marketing"

Yes faggot, and a .22 to the hand is basically the same as a .308 to the head

so please enlighten me
Are they gonna race the new GT? And did they also design it so it can "compete" in its own free-of-competition safespace like the Corvettes?
Don't bump your thread after 15 minutes.
Yes there will be gt3 ford gt racecars.
Not sure what corvette safe-space you're talking about, the safe space of winning the 24 hours of Le Mans?
>>13891173
The safe-space of competing in a class with almost no competition.
>>13891182
Are you talking about gt3?
Gt3 has no competition?
Nigga what are you talking about.

reminds me of that certain cat picture with a cat that snarls and looks kind of like a grumpy grandma.
in the past month
>broken rear brakes
>broken brake lines
>leaky gas tank
>broken hood locking mechanism
>broken ball joints
>clear coat coming off
at this point i might as well just buy a new car
never fall for the honda meme. /o/
sounds like you should have done some more inspection before purchase. Haven't paid more than $200 for a single one of my hondas and never had that many problems with the whole lot combined.
>>13890483
This is what happens to cars of old age you dumbfuck
>>13890483
Sounds like a old car with little to no preventative maintenance or general care.
>but whys it broke?
Would you trust your shitbox on a long distance (1000+ miles) drive?
>>13890038
Of course. I've taken multiple 1500 mile trips in it already.

i like how the US was basically forced to stop making shitty cars when all the automakers nearly went belly up a few years ago.
Hi friends, any Model T owners? I am seriously considering buying one soon because they seem like a lot of fun to drive, own, and maintain. Any tips on what to check when looking at a potential buy?
