Hey /o/,
So I got in an accident on Monday night, I was travelling eastbound on a three lane street passing under the highway when I was hit by another driver at an intersection. They were turning south to get on the onramp to the highway. Knocked into me between the driver's side backdoor and the back wheel well. Deployed the side airbag and generally turned a great day into shit. Spoke with the field rep and he's estimating it'll be a total loss, I've never dealt with this shit before. Wat do?
Here's where I got hit. More to follow.
holy crap that sucks.
This is their SUV. Apparently we both had the green light but she had no arrow (so she was at fault) as well as had a few beers a few hours before but was determined sober three field sobriety tests later.

If she was at fault and you had full coverage insurance then basically you'll be fine. Don't be so quick to squeeze your cheeks.
All BMW ever does is take a GT3 car and change the underbody air channels, and wing size and calls it a GTE car.
Does this ever produce a win?
>>13893908
they remove the restrictor too desu.
Also Aston Martin and Z4 teams do something similar
>>13893989
The Aston is a completely different car
How the fuck can you complain about that?
You fuckers usually complain about racecars being way to different from the original, to the point where it might as well be a different car.
And now you complain about a car being not different
Anybody here have any experience with the Goodwrench 350
I'm considering buying a Chevy c10 but I know both about the engine
Are they any good?
>>13893823

Hey /o/. The previous owner of my '70 Skylark had ripped out the horn wiring from the steering column for some reason. How do I route new wiring through the steering column? Do I need to disassemble the column?
>>13893677
Who needs a horn when you have a finger? :^)
>>13893702
Top jej... It's my daily and I often get cut off by terrible drivers who won't bother to look in their side view mirror. Almost got into an accident because of this. Figured I probably need a horn soon.
>>13893677
Clean Skylark anon. Yes, you will have to remove the coulmn unless the shroud is 2 piece ( I doubt it). About the only other way it may be possible is a thin metal rod ran up from the bottom with the wiring attached.
I'm curious, what's the fastest thing you guys have ever been in/on? It can be a quick 0-60, top speed, motorcycle, etc. Who's was it and were you driving? Let me know!
>>13893560
Why do we have these threads every few days?
250kmh
ran out of gear
>>13893577
Because retarded tripfags like OP don't get enough attention unless they make their own thread
Sup /o/ how'd I do?
Just got a 92 Chevy Blazer 1500 for $800.
>160k miles
>5.7L v8
>auto
>4wd works
>tires/rims in great shape
>paint in decent shape
Rust seems pretty minimal all around. Nothing rotting through. Diff and axles looked healthy. Looks similar to pic related
Shit, the heater core literally just blew, shorting out the Ecu in the process. Do you think I can get my money back?
>>13893440
>implying
>>13893440
Dang. Uh, maybe if the person who sold it didn't skip town yet. or if your state has a lemon law.
Now that the 2016 Civic coupe has been revealed...
Anyone else waiting for the new Civic Si? Only thing I don't like about the coupe is the rear, but maybe they'll clean that up a bit for the Si. Really liking the fastback roof line and longer hood.

does anyone have any suggestions for a tasteful headunit or speakers for a car? the last owner put in a ricey headunit that sticks out like a sore thumb.
>>13893293
i've heard kicker CS series are pretty good and durable. i don't really care about bass, but i want a speaker that is pretty loud and won't bust easily. i have 6's in the front and 4's in the back i think. as for the headunit, i would like an EQ adjuster, an auxiliary port, AM/FM, and all the standard controls. a CD player would be nice, but isn't necessary for me. any suggestions? thanks in advance
Unfortunately unless you pay $$$$$$ the most tasteful headunit for your car is probably the stock one.
>>13893329
Tasteful is relative but here's my pick for a non-ricey headunit
>everyone thinks you are a douchebag asshole just because you drive a red muscle car with black wheels and a full exhaust
>tfw really you're a sensitive faggot who just wants a qt girl that he can share his feelings with and just has a thing for fun, fast cars
I fucking hate stereotypes. What's the stereotype for your car? I drive a s197 GT btw.
>>13893185

Nailed it
>>13893185

there's none, no one knows we exist.
Alright /o/, in the market for my first car. I'm 18 so insurance is gonna be a fuck, so I need advice. I want:
>Smallish
>Relatively quick/responsive
>Small engine
>Unassuming
>Cheap
Doesn't have to be all of them, but idk where to start

The familiar sound of a 4A-G winding out. *flash* headlights appear around a corner, it's an ae82 Nova twin cam! Engine screaming as it clips the apex sideways, steering at full counter rear trays scrabbling against the blacktop in a shower of sparks.
I'm restoring my headlights. What's a good UV resistant clear coat that I can put on them when I'm done?
I can't find a good answer to this anywhere and the top rated product on amazon for this is fucking shit and not even a true clear coat
>>13893079
don't bother
just restore them once every couple years

This doesn't work.

RIP 1992 Toyota Hilux, you will be dearly missed. ;_;
Guys please hold me, I fucked up real bad today and it cost me something I hold very dearly. This was my grandfather's truck that I inherited when he passed and I killed it this morning.
Can we have a Toyota thread please?

Hey /o/
I was land surveying a relevantly wealthy house yesterday and noticed the owner had (2006?) Dodge Viper SRT10 in his driveway. After peeking through the window I saw that it was manual stick shift. When I was finished with the work the owner came out and I complimented his car. He asked me if I wanted to hear it and I said sure. To my surprise, instead of getting in in the car to start it he took out his key fab and remotely started it. It wasn't until I left it occurred to me.
>How the fuck did he remote start a manual transmission

Only downside is you can't park in gear if you're gonna use it.
>>13892883
Why would you park it in gear anyway?
