hey guys, i'm from the philippines and i'm getting my first car soon as a gift for graduating college. i'm getting something around the price range of a subcompact car. my dad wants to get me the new Yaris or Vios because of reasons. he's okay with a Honda City too. I'm considering buying myself a cheap Manual '92 Maxima, I've read that they're reliable and relatively quick/easy to make quick. It also seems like they have a pretty decent community surrounding them. I'm looking for a DD that can go fast enough, not a racecar. Opinions? Am I retarded? Is there anything else quick, cheap, reliable, and able to get gas mileage in the 20+'s?
