I remember that ad from 6th grade. I thought all cars were RWD up until then, through some kind of logic. Damn that feel.
Look guys if we rape our rear brakes and the ground is wet we can have fun too!
Don't ever think it couldn't happen to you.
God damn it /o/, of course this happens when I drive my girlfriends car to work.
She was supposed to drive to her parents house tomorrow so I took her car to work so I could put gas in it and check her tire pressure.
There was an accident on the right and I rubber necked it for a second, next thing I knew I looked forward, jammed the brakes, but it was too late. The lady said the cars in front of her jammed on their brakes.
Already had it towed to a shop and told her parents; we're going to...

Lol just buy a new car. What are you, poor?

you're at fault ya dumb fuck.
Also what does it matter what insurance you have, it's her insurance that matters.
>>13920664
No shit I'm at fault.
It matter, because her insurance will cover the repair, if I had been driving my car, I'd be fucked.
I'm 24 and have decided to go to community college for automotive technology
I know almost nothing about cars
How fucked am I?
>>13920535
there is nothing to know
its all pressure and energy differential
>>13920535
Not very fucked, don't pretend to know more than you do, ask lots of questions and if you have a brain stem you shouldn't be very lost.
At the end of the day it's just a car, sold to normal people. It ain't rocket science
>>13920535
>community college
>I know almost nothing about cars
Well that's fine because community college isn't really advanced by anyone's standard anyway... it's really like a pre-school for actual subjects.

Prove me wrong

Yes, but only fatass redneck truckers drive a diesel.

>MFW $49K FOR A V8 CAMARO
The fuck is this shit? This is just the 2SS with the brakes, dual exhaust and magnaride. $5k more and I get a fucking Corvette.
Fuck, I'd rather get a GT350! More horse power, better sounding engine that revs to the moon and will more than likely be more scarce.
Stop complaining...

Will cars be the next housing bubble? Car prices are insane, everyone is getting 72 month loans. This can't last forever can it?
>>13920172
Why not? Investors can't afford to keep giving 0%Apr but they wanted to stimulate new car sales so people are buying new cars same shit with housing
Cmon, someone on here has to have one

How comes that when obese people sit into a car it usually goes down a few inches on all sides instead of leaning only on the fatty's side?

this desu. wrestling 40 lbs of metal piping by yourself into place while lying on your back is kind of a pain in the ass. Also fuck exhaust hangers. if those bitches are rusted to shit, good luck getting them off the rubber off without the tool to do so. Also good luck getting rusted exhaust bolts off.
you know what? just good luck. Fuck exhaust systems.
I have an irrational fear of driving. I frequently dream about crashing or killing pedestrians. Anybody feel the same way?
i had that before i started
you're vastly overestimating the difficulty of controlling a car, it's extremely easy and controllable
you just need to get into a parking lot and drive around a lot to get used to how the car feels and handles
>>13918993
>this
>>13919102
Make driving your bitch, you control the car, the car doesn't control you.
What's wrong with crashing and killing pedestrians?

What are your th/o/ughts on automatic transmission sports cars?
>>13918938
newer ones are just as fast if not faster. still not as fun to drive.
Old ones garbage, new ones, faster than any manual shift.
I disagree that it won't be as fun as a manuel. Something like a 458 or a Huracán just seems like you'd rather be focusing on the speed and the turns rather than a clutch. Maybe something like the stick sequential in the Punani Tsunami might be best.

I like this post
Is it a good DD? I've heard they're very reliable and fun to drive, also mpg is pretty decent. Im looking at one for about 3,900 with 134k miles. i sport, 2.3 4 cylinder.
The 1st gen Mazda 6's are very reliable cars for the most part. Make sure you check the motor mounts are solid though, they tend to go around 150k
>>13918931
Yeah they are good cars. Make sure to have timing chain guides inspected at that mileage though
Yeah, im definitely doing a through check-up, but its good they're not really high balling on the price.
ITT we post cars, interiors, etc. that give us nostalgic feels. The vehicle doesn't have to have been good, just something you had fond memories of. Pic related is like the van that my family took on road trips for years. Was the first vehicle I ever drove, too. What gives you guys /nostalgia feels?
learned to drive in a 2006 malibu v6. handled like a brick and was made out of cheap GM plastic but it still bring back memories.
