Guy wants 3k for a mint 87 Grand Prix
Ye or nah
http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/5280970197.html
Do you want it and is 3 grand within your budget?
If its yes to both then you should buy it

Doesn't look too bad, but the seller neglects to mention the mileage. Also, is it a or 4 speed? Lots of the G Bodies are 3 speeds. I'd prefer one with OD.
GP's tend to go for the least out of any of the G-Bodies, although they do have the nicest interiors with the most amenities.
I'd say it's worth checking out but be prepared for some repairs as even clean lower mileage older cars are prone to issues from age.
Also keep in mind the 305 is a slug, I'd highly recommend...

I think I would be more inclined to just put different heads, intake manifold, and a new cam in it.
What is that one maintenance item you've been putting off?
brake pads
I have a rear main that's starting to leak, but I'm not gonna pull the engine for another 4 months
>putting off maintenance
It's why german cars break in american hands.

If you could become a professional driver in any form of motorsports, which series would you join?

I don't want to believe these are real, but these people really do exist.
Some kid in my diesel tech class was drilling a huge hole in the side of his turbo, claiming that it would silence the whistle while having the same flow.
Apparently these things with just a tune and downpipe make a substantial amount if power. Anyone here own one?

could be faster than an F1 car and cost $50 and I still wouldn't care
i'd take the e30 out of all of those
Ask someone who works at the DMV anything.
Why can't you hurry up
Can you guys pick up the pace a little
How do I cheat on the eye exam?
Heel-toe, or left-foot braking?
just drop her in first give it some jandal fuck yeah mate
>>13924835
Depends on your drivetrain layout.
>>13924835
I can understand left foot braking in a fwd but why would someone do it on a rwd?
Haven't seen one in a bit, recent spotted thread?

I don't understand why nobody ever appreciated Vipers

I'm an Author who basically needs a fictional F150 converted to Electric.
I own a Nissan Leaf in real life, which is pretty small, and gets 60-70 miles tops per charge, tho I still don't know much about EV's, and the fact that EV general sized trucks flat out dont exist.
>tl;dr IF you could convert an F150 to electric, how much battery could I fit (without taking up the entire flatbed), and how many kWh and miles per charge would that get?
>>13924641
>>13924651
im not trolling or anything. just wanna quick guesstimation
>>13924661
For one /o/ hates electrics
and Two we have few actual engineer fags who would willingly crunch the numbers and guesstimate, as it would also depend on which year F150.

I always liked the charger more over challenger, it must be the headlight covers.
Also I'm disappointed with the lack of real human beans in this thread

I wanna buy an RX-7 FC but all the buyers guides I can find are about the FB/FD.
What do I need to know? I know all about rotaries and apex seals and Doritos and such, but besides that are there any common problems specific to the FC?
Turbos are out of my price range and I'm fairly sure they're extinct in North America.
Is 3500$ too much to pay for an S4 with about 100k miles, well detailed maintanence/oil changes, but some interior and exterior wear and tear? I think it's the less fancy non-lsd trim or whatever you call that one.
Buy a 944 instead. Replacing the timing belt is easier than rebuilding a rotary.
>>13924569
>buy a 944
No.
Nope.
Don't wanna go bankrupt.
>>13924581
then why are you buying a rotary?

This is a thread dedicated to cars you just think are amazing
I'll start of by posting a pretty futuristic looking car...it's funny how this car is now 23 years old given it was made in 1992: the Jaguar XJ220

Looks like a pigfat MR2

IDK why I love this
Hello /o/
My boss wants to sell me his 560SEL which he bought brand new back in 80s, he kept it and maintained it every year, he drove it summer but only recently about two years he's been driving it daily. When it snowed hard and I had to take the busride home he would offer me lifts and the ride was always smooth and comfortable. The interior is immaculate in beige leather, no scratches or anything.
Car has about 190k KM and he is offering to sell it to me for 2000$ I bet he is willing to let it go for 1500$.
now I just recently started looking up on these cars and apparently they were the last great Mercedes followed by the "SEC"
Would it be a good daily-driver? It has no rust, just a couple small dings here and there.. the driver door was smashed into a long time ago obviously it is fixed and Boss told me that the door was perfectly fine aside from the big ding it had.
Are these cars reliable? Do they tend to break down? I mean, expensive German engineering and it must cost a lot to fix but after thirty or so years parts should be abundant by now.
for 1500 one owner always maintained and 190k KM is it worth it?
DO IT
