I got it!! Probably two months ago I posted on here about getting a 1987 Mercedes 300E, and I got it. I wont go into details with it all but it runs great and I dont feel anything wrong that's major so I'm happy. Now, when I got the car the front speakers didnt work, so I went ahead and bought new ones to replace the deteriorated ones. When I plugged up the new ones there was still no audio. I went ahead and ripped out the aftermarket radio that the previous owner had in it and the wiring was wrong. The front wires were plugged to the back on the radio and the back...

One of the old front speakers.
>that comfy feel of never going over 3k rpm

why would you ever need to turn that much? Im already going 50mph at 2k
>>13927007
Couldn't even do it if I tried...
Not sure why the tach goes all the way up to 4000rpm. It redlines at ~2200rpm.
>>13927032
how is the rig doing? You fix anything yet?
I was surprised to know a lot of you guys seems to dislike the exterior of Ferrari FF
I think it's a beautiful car.
Do you agree? http://strawpoll.me/6098581
shooting brake is just an inherently ugly bodystyle maybe the ugliest of all
Ferrari officially the bravest brand around.
Releasing a shooting brake in times of crossovers and hate towards everything wagon like needs balls of diamonds.

I'm looking for a webM (or Jewtube link if anyone has that) of a guy who is driving around delivering newspapers or something, going really fast.
It is filmed from the inside of the car like pic related, but it's an 80s Nissan or Toyota or something, with an autobox.
I saw it here in thread some time ago.
>>13926836
i think you're thinking of initial d.
>>13926836
>>13926864
you guys are shit.
no problem op, thank me later.
>>13926880

>tfw drive an automatic
can i ever compete
>>13926685
Is it a lotus?
>>13926685
If you are turbo, you don't have to let off of boost during shifts.
Subarus get crazy extra torque multiplication.
LSx cars are faster as automatic off the line and more consistent.
You can finger your girl or get blown while you drive much easier.

I made a thread on here a while back asking for tips on car buying, you guys said Mazda3. I really like that car but i also like the Honda civic.
I've been looking at many different options and the Mazda seems like a much better deal. am i wrong? here is two examples
Link to the cars: pastebin com gXcfRivZ
Also, is Carmax a good place to buy from?
What would you guys buy.
>>13926671
Mazda3. Coming from a guy who's had a civic as well. I stuck with the Mazda
>>13926671
>pastebin com gXcfRivZ
Also sorry about this retarded link, i couldn't get it to just post the two link in the thread, thought it was spam.
>>13926679
What did you like more about the mazda?
>>13926684
Style, responsiveness, interior, just felt more solid all around.
Cruises really nice on the freeway.
Mine is a 2.3L hatch. Very easy to gain speed in 5th gear on the freeway.
The Honda felt like mush. It was quieter as far as road noise though. But too numb and never felt like the power came on.
Who driving purse here /o/?
Post driving purse.
Talk about contents of driving purse.
Bonus points if purse matches your gear.
I guess my flek bag is my driving purse since I bring it on long trips.

My backpack:

>rags for sweat and whatever
>ibuprofen
>extra cigs
>phone charger
>printer paper
>misc papers and lists of phone numbers
Sometimes maybe some snacks and drinks too
Does /o/ approve vanity plates?

So, i just got my drivers license and i'm looking to buy my first car. My budget is very limited but i don't need anything fancy. just something thats fairly reliable and pulls low gas. i'd drive it to work daily about 30 min there, 30 min home. and other shorter trips.
I live in Sweden and my budget is around 30.000sek (roughly $3500) i've been looking at vw golf but i don't know much about cars. What would you guys recommend that i look at? and any general tips when buying used cars? Extra nerd bonus if i can get a car from initial d.
Thanks...

This is your shitty Trueno "AE86"
>its not
Stick with VW, they last a while, just expensive to repair, doesn't happen very often
Civic, seriously they are a good solid car

wrong
he could get a bitching MR2 AW11 in great condition for that money
A semi totalled my car and I've got $8,000 to spend. I like the /o/ used car guide, but I have a slightly better budget than that, and would really prefer a car made in the last 10 years. If I'm looking for a 4-door with reliability, durability, and economy, what should I look at first?
My driving is primarily suburb and highway, with some regular long-distance drives.

Save $2000 and buy a brand new car.
http://www.wheels.ca/car-reviews/2015-nissan-micra-what-on-earth-can-a-car-under-10000-be-like/
Actually, if you're American that's $10,000 CAD... so you would only actually need to save like 500~ more

/o/,
I've searched on my local Craigslist for every possible car with pop-up headlights (I cross-referenced Wikipedia for a list of them). It's come down to:

Would you rather deal with oversteer, or understeer?
Over
>>13925828
Well much depends on the situation.
In my limited driving experience understeer in my opinion is more dangerous but i think gives you more feedback on when it's going to happen.
Oversteer is somewhat a bit more manageable but to me, there's little feedback... it's like more, it begins to oversteer and from there you control it, if you can.
Anyway, Oversteer is better. Understeer usually means crashing the front.
>>13925828
>under~
Dealt with both, over~ is too much for me IRL.
