So what does /o/ think of Teslas? I think they are pretty awesome and set a standard for electric cars. Hope they can come out with something for the common man though.
>>13948070
Tesla would never ruin its image as a premium brand by making their machines affordable to the average. If they do, they'll have to badge engineer it through Chrysler or something.
Obnoxious, money burning centerfold for gullible idiots.
If they were actually concerned about making a good car, they'd easily could.

I'm waiting for the next 10 years to it be the next-gen shitboxes...
Anyone here DD nsx'es?
Is maintenance going to destroy my bank? Are repairs impossible? Thinking of getting one in the near future, just wanted to see what kind of road it'll see.
>>13947977
>anyone on /o/ with an NSX
>let alone DDing it
>>13947989
it only costs 52000
incredible how that "facelift" that was supposed to make it look more modern and took away the fliplights actually made it look cheap instead
has there ever been a blind racer? like the blind samurai but a racer, and he'd just smell the corners and listen for the apex.

Storing my car for winter, gonna do a "tune up" next month, how does this look?
- Change oil
- Clean throttle body
- Change sparkplugs
- Change air filter
Anything else? I feel a little bit of hesitation on my 350Z when accelerating, nothing else, 54000 miles
>>13947343
Fill your fuel tank, change your fuel filter if you haven't changed it in a while.
Tire pressure for good measure
>>13947986
3bar (or some 48psi) for having it stand around.
Are you loyal to any brand of oil?
For each car a different one, because the manuals say so.

I got a quick question, long story short drove over a sidewalk with my car, I was kinda angled didnt go straight, could I have damaged anything? Felt and drove fine going home, no weird sounds. However when I was driving today heard as if they were rocks flying around inside my left fender and the road was clean, no other noises no cracking, popping, etc its really literally as if there were rocks inside the fender, what could it be?
>>13947150
yeah m8, sidewalk chalk is notorious for causing axle bearing to through out because sidewalk chalk contains calcium chloride which dries the bearing lube causing it to fail
>>13947239
Lmao
This is just an picture I found not my actual car xD
Drove over an real sidewalk so any help appreciated and not shitlord trolls like you.
>>13947253
well, how fast did you drive up the sidewalk? might just be a stressed ball joint

are there any g35 owners on /o/?
i've been cosidering getting one of the earlier ones (i want an 03-06 sedan but i might end up with an 03-07 coupe as they are easier to find in a manual iirc) as i totaled my previous car (if you know who i am don't talk about it in this thread) and they would probably come closer in price to what i'll get back from insurance
i've heard about oil burning in the 03-05 models and i was wondering from owners of those affected years if your example is burning oil or not
i haven't driven this generation...

The essence of douche.
Ok, 2006 G35 coupe owner here.
1. Sedans and coupes are fairly similar, same interior and same equipment.
2. The oil burning issues only happen in the DE Rev Up engines which come in the 2005-2006 manual transmission for both models, if I'm not wrong. Automatics dont have REV ups.
3. Driving is really firm and sporty, I really feel the difference between driving my chevrolet aveo, my dads sentra and my G it's different steering wise and obviously power wise.
To be honest I suggest to go with a 2005+, why? Because everything is better, interior...

Is a used 750i the cheapest stock twin turbo V8 you can get these days? They seem like insanely good value assuming you can wrench and fix electrical gremlins.
