OH BABY YOU
YOU GOT WHAT I NEED
WELCOME BACK BABY TO THE DISCO FIRE
BUT YOU SAY HE'S JUST A FRIEND
Any non ASE certified mechanics here who work as a mechanic at home or own their own small shop? looking to start doing a little on the side have a few questions.
It's not like ASE is a universal cert that makes you a professional or not, running your own shop properly requires permits from the city and state, and insurance, that's what I would look into first. I used to do side work here and there but it's just not worth it, liability is way too high. LLC protects you a bit but not enough to do unlicensed work.

They town I live in only requires a business license for those inside the city limits or who are going to be operating inside the city limits, which I am not...I used to be an auto dealer a few years ago and insurance and licenses fees basicly put me out of business..i only expect to be doing 1 or 2 jobs per week

Right here. I prefer to work on motorcycles but this Saturday I'm doing a timing belt, water pump, cv axle, and valve cover gasket in a 2001 Honda Accord. Then on Sunday I'm replacing the little choke seals on a 1994 GSXR 1100 because they leak like a beyitch
Why is FCA the GOAT of marketing?

Because you can sell a turd to anyone if you make it sound cool.

Yeah just look at Ford sales

Topic.
There's a pint of truth to that though, for suburban commuting which the majority of private truck owners do nowadays the Ridgeline is excellent, including running costs, and it actually has a higher load rating than the since-discontinued Avalanche/EXT and the same 5000 lbs tow rating. If you have a paved driveway, chances are you don't need anything an ounce of truck more than what the Ridgeline offers.

The truck is perfect, but spergers here will go REEEE over it because it's "not a real truck" or some shit.

>MAKE /o/ MAD!
>implying that /o/ isn't always mad
o I am torn at the moment. I got the green light on getting a car from my credit union, but I can't decide between the two.
What am I missing out on with the NA?
once you go dorito you never go back
Unless you're hopelessly obsessed with popups or want to do the entire maintenance and repairs yourself, the ND is most likely the better choice. More power, stiffer chassis, better ride.

I don't think we have any decent trianglebros here in Georgia for sale
Thoughts on the 2008 Mazda 3 Hatch?
I'm a broke student who needs advice.

You now own a car dealership. What do you name it and what kind of cars do you sell?
"Fuck Off"
Bristols.
>>13990411
Bristol didn't advertise, but they weren't exactly assholes.

Tony Crook was known to close the shop when he didn't approve of who was window shopping.
Will we ever see the Mark IX come to market? I like to imagine it will have the 5.0 and a modified Mustang platform, but will Ford say
>muh cannibalization
>muh babyboomers a kill
>muh geriatrics a kill

>Will we ever see the Mark IX come to market?
Technically one did as a one-off. Ford built one, auction it off, and now a collector owns it.

Ask Marked about any previous models since he's such a filthy ford shill.
Are they finally made it?
>did
I love my gen coupe, best car I've owned. That's not saying much though other cars were a 2011 lancer, 1996 Chevy blazer and a 2003 neon
I think they finally are made it, anon.
Haven't seen one yet so figured I'd post one.
>Fiesta ST owner reporting in
Heavily considering to upgrade to a RS.
>>13990030
anon, what's your mpg like?
>>13990041
I commute is only 10km, so the engine runs cold on a good chunk. The MPG is 28 (US) or 8.5l/100km. And i punch it any time the oil is warmed up :) efficient little beast
What does /o/ think of Toyota 86s? Just bought myself one and am gonna pick it up in like two weeks. Been thinking about it for yonks. Considering this is 4chan, are most of you going to tell me what a massive fucking mistake I've made?
Supposed to be fun.
its slow but drifts. You bought a not ugly miata

I'm thinking of buying a used Mazda 323f (pic related, just an example) but some people say it's ugly.
IMO it's better looking than 95% of the cars in this price range and has aged very well for a 12 year old model.
I also hear they are very reliable and practical.
What do you think /o/?
>>13989766
bumping with examples
Unfortunately most ads are for silver cars like this one but it still looks fresh.
>>13989766
I'm with you man. I like how they look. In the US we received those as the Mazda Protegé5.
They have a reputation for being drivers cars. Extremely fun to drive with excellent handling. Obviously pretty practical due to being a hatchback/wagon.
The biggest flaw I'm aware of is they are prone to severe rust. That might be largely due to the road salt we use here. Otherwise I hear they are mechanically reliable.
Ignore the people that don't like the looks. Someone will always dislike...

Thanks, mate! I fell in love with it immediately. I hope I get lucky and find one in good condition.
