>AWD and 3SGTE out of the SW20 turbo
That's not accurate. The Revision 4 3S-GTE is an "upgraded" version of the Revision 3 3S-GTE used in both the ST205 GT-Four and post-facelift Jap-spec SW20. It's upgraded in that the engine management is better but it also has a stupid manifold with an integral turbocharger. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the transaxle is the same E series unit that's in the 205. So if you're going to say it came with...

What is /o/'s opinion on C4 corvettes?
They are pretty affordable in my area, I'd appreciate any input.
>>14014133
There's a reason you can get one for 2 grand
Though they're my favorite corvette despite GM being the worst company
>>14014133
They're on the sticky for a reason.
That said, automatics are everywhere, but shit to drive, and the manuals weren't much better until 1989. Try to find a 1989-1996 manual C4. In 1989, they ditched the 4+1 manual for a good 6 speed manual.
I want to make my car go that br brbrbr brbr brbrbrbr sound when letting go of the accelerator.
How do I do it other than wiring speakers to the back and a microphone and doing the br brbrb brbbr br myself.
catless.
I personally like the sound where it goes
"Psh!!" In between shifts

Bumper hits it.
What vehicle doesn't have a long and low overhand in front of the front tire but still:
>Gets good mileage
>Looks at least somewhat masculine and grown up
>Is reliable
>Is affordable
I drive a lot for work. Current car is a 2014 with 60k miles on it. So mileage is important but so is looking like I got my shit together when I show up at a meeting. Oh and I'm not wealthy.
What get?

Just raise your car
>>14014145
How to, făm?
Not OP, same situation. And a raised car would help with the shifty, pothole ridden streets around here.
>>14013994
Probably would be cheaper to have your driveway regraded/repaved
Was 100hp really that much back in the 80s/90s?
>real answer
no
cars were making 100+hp left and right in the early 50s
low 100s, but the 100s
it's never been much, but it's all relative to the cars weight. when you consider most small cars in the 80's and 90's were truly small cars, it's plenty of power to have fun with.
>>14013919
No. But it got lightweight shitboxes moving.
Also HP ratings aren't everything. There are lots of V8 cars from that era with ~200HP but 300+ torks
>6 cylinder engines
>>14013856
I know. Isn't it amazing that V8's simply can't compete.
>v6 "mostly" sucks
>inline 6 "mostly" rocks
>v8s are better but suck the gas
>i4s are UNFORTUNATELY the future until fossil fuels are phased-out
there, shitty repost thread is finished, let them both die

>v8's are better

We all buy accessories, but rarely talk about them, with that said, bought an obd2 Bluetooth scanner bafx and using torque pro, I want to use my old phone to be my real time feed on what my car is doing. Im thinking just a nice cell phone holder but it occurred to me I could buy a android head unit and pair that to my obd2 reader, has anyone here done it? And what android head unit is reputable?
My most used car accessories:
Weighted shift knob
Magnetic phone mount
Car trash can
Radio...
I drive ~100 miles a day
>>14013441
I bought a 32 oz skunk2 shift knob made specifically for my Ep3, smooth as fuck shifts, gotta say it was a great investment
Multitool pliers
Buck 110 folding knife
flashlight
dash cam
car visor organizer for some cd's, notepad and pen
I have a OBD2 reader to usb, connect to laptop and run FREESSM and can run diagnostic tests, wipe tranny data, graphs, clear codes etc..
