How's it stack up against the Chevy Spark?
I've been looking for a nice little newer model shitbox in the $10k-$15k range.

>reliable enough to be daily driven
>stick shift
>RWD or AWD
Does this exist? Closest thing I can think of are Foxbody SVO Mustangs or 4.6L Cobra Mustangs but transmissions...

You're fucked for that price unless you drop a lot of cash in mods.
7000 is before mods; I'm just retarded, not completely insane
looking to put coilovers on my t5 in the future. what are some suggestions?
don't.
/o/?
If I have a, say, E30 with a M20 that's going to be turboed with an aftermarket ECU setup, how do I pass emissions in Arizona?
It seems like every build thread ever is just devoid of information on emissions testing.
I'm assuming they just do a NOx test, which would easily pass with a high quality cat, right?
God, just let me pay 150 bucks so I don't have to deal with emissions BS
>>14033973
Get a tune that complies with emissions regulations.
If the garage that tunes the engine has a gas analyser they should be able to do that for you.
Do they test for nox. In the UK we don't.
>>14033973
Pay out the ass for a big, high-flow cat, pay out the ass for a tune that passes emissions. Seriously, an emissions-friendly tune is going to cost a lot of money. Lots of time will have to go into it and it will involve a dyno that has manual loading capabilities and a shop that has an exhaust gas analyzer.
How is an E30 not old enough to be exempt in Arizona? What's the cutoff?
If you want to be entertained by a bunch of ricers who think their 200hp Honda is the fastest car in Arizona, or you want to watch a bunch of retards talk shit online visit this page. AZSH (Real Az Street Heat). Its bad guys. Real bad.

Got that group was horrible. Had to leave after that whole white trash thing happened.
I've met a few of them at Pav's. They're really stupid people.

What do you think of the g37?
I love em
>>14033753
douchebox
>>14033753
Don't know how similar they are but i drove a G35 coupe for a couple of years and it was aight.
Interior was nice and the seats were amazing, but the car felt slow and it understeered like crazy.
Even with mods and a tune i couldn't get it above 320whp which was kind of disappointing for how much money i put into it.
Plus it eats oil and gasoline, so i ended up selling it.
But like i said that was the g35 coupe so idk about the g37, i assume it's pretty similar though.
Let's have one of these to break up the shitstorm.

Is this the poorfag wish list thread?
I am looking at getting a 2002 bmw 540i v8 6 speed wagon.
Paying about 7000 with between 150,000 to 200,000 kilometres on it.
Will i done goof?
too much $$
otherwise nice find
The wagons never left the factory with a 6 speed, so as long as it's not a total hackjob by the previous owner, go for it.
Gas mileage leaves something to be desired.
Looks like it could use a sedan bumper if they fit tho
GIVE THE MANUFACTURERS NEW IDEAS ITT
gotcha

Hey /o/:
Car newbie here. I was at the mechanics getting some various work done (power steering flush), when they suggested that I get a 6 cylinder tune up. It was way pricey for both parts (six spark plugs) plus labor ($250). I said no, but it got me pretty curious.
What does a cylinder tune up consist of? What's the different between just replacing my spark-plugs and "tuning" a cylinder? Will it make any difference with my beater SUV? Can I do it at home if so?
My vehicle is a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer LT 4WD.
It's a money grab that uses a fancy name to convince car-tarded people to shell out the money. There's no real way to tune up a cylinder short of tearing the engine down and replacing seals. Change the plugs and wires when they're due and you'll be fine.
>>14032554
Why are you getting bullshit like power steering flushes done in the first place?
>>4032571
Thanks mate, I figured it was snakeoil maintenance.
>>14032573
Ok enlighten me, why are power steering flushes bullshit? It's too messy to do in my apartment's parking lot, so I had the mechanic do it. Wasn't too bad.
