>The look the person going the speed limit in the passing lane gives you as you honk your horn at him
I don't honk
I cut back in front of them dangerously close and laugh when they nearly swerve into the guard rail.

It's been a while now and the problem started out as not that bad and only occasionally and now it happens every time i touch the gas below 2700rpm. My truck shakes like hell. I don't know what it is. I've ran some fuel system cleaner in awn aunt tempt to help it but it's done nothing for it. I also replaced the fuel filter. It shakes and chugs like it's not going fuel or its misfiring. It seems like a bad injector but there's no engine light and in neutral it'll rev up just fine but then you take off and it shakes like an old man with a walker....

Well, Satan, check your spark plugs and differential mounts, if you know your fuel system is good.
Also there's a howling noise that sounds like a wheel bearing but when I jack it up the tires don't wiggle and when I take the tires off the bearings are solid. It gets really bad at 30 mph or if you turn right. When you turn left though the howl goes away. Above or below 30 it's not as bad but it's still blatantly obvious. I don't think these are in anyway connected but I don't know. The noise doesn't bother me it, seems fine like an enlarged prostate in your 60's.

Dont punish me for not remebering the specific name of the part satan but I had a similar problem from misfiring; the electrical component that a spark plug connects to war fried but that was spitting out errors and check engine light so it might not be that
>supercharge toybaru for smooth power curve and extra ~85 hp for a total of almost 300hp
>buy some aftermarket parts for ~$1,000 and replace the ugly taillights/headlights
>you now have funcar with high power-weight ratio and it looks neat
What's wrong with this? I mean, shit on people that drive stock Toybaru's because they're pathetic in the power department, but there is so much fucking aftermarket support for these things that you can do whatever you want...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why are toybaru owners insecure about their vehicle? Just drive what you like and leave the bench racing to the fags.

Anyone else depressed when they cant work/drive their cars? Slow bit in my build... and i feel terrible. My car is probably why im still around and its killing me. Dont really have any friends to hang out with and my car is my only hobby. Please share your car stories and tell me about your ride to share your happiness with me!
I understand your pain man, I hope your build is going well!

That sucks man, i have to take the bus everywhere because i cant afford a second car
Im restoring my headlights tomorrow and the kit only came with 800-1000-2000 grit paper but I know that thats not going to be rough enough. Does anyone know where i can find 400 and 500 grit? Can I just go to home depot and grab some or does it have to be a special type designated for car use?
Will any 400 grit paper work? And do you guys have any advice in general, ive done it before and the result sucked.
You don't know if it's rough enough until after you've used it. Use the 2000, 1000, and 800 first. Yes, you can buy lower grits at ACE Hardware, LOWES, Home Depot, etc. No, there is no type of sand paper designated for car use.
Circles, not streaks. No blades. No industrial strength cleaners. Don't fuck up.
>>14040262
anon i hear toothpaste is just abrasive enough and will work
>>14040262
Considering a rag and some cutting compound is enough, any grit sand paper is enough.
Use the 2000 and use wet sand paper n00b

Reminder that, decades and decades later, Enzo was and is absolutely fucking right about Ferruccio Lamborghini, AND the people who buy his disgusting cars.
reminder that OP is a benchracing faggot who will never, EVER afford either a ferrari or lamborghini even if his cheetos infused life depended on it. he will succumb to fiero kits saying how the Linguini and Fetucinni are just as good as the real thing.

What Buicks are even made in America any more? It seems like most of them are made by Opel or Daewoo.
Buicks are apparently really popular in China. So one more terrible thing in the world is thanks to the Chinese, the worst people on the planet.
/liveoutofcar/ anon here. Found one I might bite on, but why the hell is with insurance?
It's 1,200 a year to insure a $700 car. Why does the government mandate car insurance while allowing gouging on prices like that? 3, nearly four years of driving without a single infraction on my record. Most government mandated stuff at least has a cheap/free-but-crappy provided version, though I don't know about healthcare.
*a year
Per six months, sorry. Ludicrous
What does /o/pay ?
wow anon why is insurance so expensive for you?
I pay less than $800 a year and drive a car that's only 4 years old
sup /o/
Its winter here and routinely drops below 0C. I'm only an occasional driver, 90% of the time I can save fuel by taking transit to university, but I still need my jeep for other stuff. I drive maybe 2-3 times a week and rarely for more than an hour.
So of course I had my battery freeze on me. Bought one from CAA, and that's died too. Boosted it, and drove around for an hour and a half to try and get it healthy again. Its died again after 2 days. Is it a drain somewhere in the system? CAA tested the system and said I didn't have any unusual...

Your battery shouldnt freeze that quickly, unless you live somewhere where it's regularly -40.
>>14039379
Nope. Hasn't even gotten below 20C for a full week yet this year.
I don't think I drove it at all the week it froze though. So 7 days-ish. That still seems too fast to me, but I'm no expert.
>>14039347
Just take it inside if you're only doing 2-3 drives a week.
Hey guys sorry if i sound like an idiot but im new and you gotta start somewhere so,
will any blow off valve fit on any turbo?
if not how do i find one that fits mine?

Drive into a hedge, then buy a car not made by GM
>>14039018

blow off valve doesnt go on the turbo so yeah
you just have to modify the piping
what could be reasons for steering on an early 90s mazda to seem "off"

Where do you buy your car performance modifications?
I've looked on eBay but all its 90% headlight mods and 10% cheap crap from China
Google doesn't help much either
from the manufacturer.
if youre just looking for a site to look around on if your bored just go to jegs
If you can't find the parts you're looking for...you probably shouldn't be doing performance mods. Just search exactly what you're looking to modify, read forums, ask your friends who are into cars...I mean do you want me to tie your shoes and wipe your ass too?
>>14038891
>I've looked on eBay but all its 90% headlight mods and 10% cheap crap from China
100% overlap there, the lighting modifications are Chinese bullshit.
