How does one justify a 2-seater sports car when motorcycles offer such ridiculous value for money?
The new, praised-to-the-moon Miata is ~$25k. It's a fair-weather two-seater with a tiny bit of luggage. It drives well enough but is anything but fast.
For half that money you can have a sport bike that also seats two, with whatever luggage you can fit in a backpack, that eats million dollar sports car for breakfast. For MX-5 money you're talking an ultra-exotic hand-built all-carbon track god that will out-drag a Veyron.
tl;dr: you dream of a Ferrari...

Op do you own a motorcycle or a miata? They are two compleatly different experiences some people just want a nice comfy fun to drive roadster. Some want a killer fast 2 wheel beast . You can't really compare the two and they both fill much different needs
so everyone on /o/ with a small Japanese Nippon mobile seems to hate any American cars, and vice versa.
my question is who else actually doesn't give a shit? they both have their obvious benefits.
which leads to my point, of why don't people have both. A muscle car, and an "import" for a DD.
nip cars get better gas mileage, good traction in all scenarios (FWD), are cheap to own and are reliable, drive nicely, handle good etc.
(good) American cars are usually much more powerful, much faster, better acceleration, better handling at speed, better braking, more stability, comfortable, better for highways, etc
anyone with a job can easily afford a muscle car and an economy car. so why the hate between the two
>i personally own an LS1 T/A and a 1.5l Civic DX hatch
why not you?
Plenty of people are the same as you, the internet just gives mouth breathing retards a louder voice, especially /o/. Gonna debate you on better braking stock for stock though.
>Gonna debate you on better braking stock for stock though.
well my 4th gen TA out-brakes the fuck out any eco car i've driven
my civic has fucking drums on the rear. and tiny single piston fronts. it's only good enough because the car is light and not going very fast
I feel lucky not to be part of the nationalistic shit flinging that comes with car culture. I only rank brands and cars on their own merits, not by the country they come from. I'd gladly have a high displacement Foxbody and a high boost S-Chassis in my garage.

What does /scoot/ think of the Zuma 125? IMHO it's the most well-rounded scooter on the market today.
Rented a kymco agility 50 in key west. Shit was fun but slow as balls, barely made it to 32 mph. I'm not even big or heavy, 110 lbs and leaning forward for aerodynamics.
I'd probably get a motorcycle or larger displacement scooter if I bought something with two wheels.
>pretending to be "above" Ferrari and citing some irrelevant to you business practices
Could you be any more Jalopnik/Reddit? It's OK to admit you still fantasize about them, we're all friends here, no judgement zone.

But they're not irrelevant to me.

The only cars of theirs that I don't think are shit and look like a horses ballsack are their race cars. Why would I fantasize about a car that I think is ugly and unimpressive?
What does /o/ think about the new TVR.
I give it a clownshoe/10
Why do they even bother putting tires on their cars anymore?
Will it be badly built and try to kill the driver again?
Wha'ts the C3 vette like? Why do they get so much hate?
Smog V8
Ugly depending on taste
Boomers love them so they want lotsa money.
Etc

I had a 77, 180 HP and only came with automatic, maybe that's why.
The earlier ones were from 68 to 71 were cool, but after that, not really.
In my area you can find mid 70's Corvettes for $6,000 to $8,000
>>14150526
My 77 has a stick.
>>14150475
Smog didn't hit until 75 or 72, idr. C3 is 68-82
>>14150458
Lots of people here love the earlier ones with the chrome bumpers. A lot of people hate the later ones with the bumpers that stick out, but it was just for low speed bumper laws new at the time.
Yeah the later ones have shit power, but that's easily mended.
I love driving mine. You kind of feel...

Do cars with more cylinders like a v8 mustang vs a v6 mustang have smaller cylinders or something like that?
