What's a good base car for Shutokou/Wangan-style racing?
It shall perform on the Autobahn, so it doesn't have to turn well, only drive really fast. Good acceleration in the high-speed range also favorable.
Other demands:
-Chargeable thus stable base parts required
-Good default aerodynamics/ not much air-resistance
-Engine-swapable without much effort (if that's how to make it fast instead of just boosting)
It should be as cheap as possible obviously and can be a Jap or European car. I don't like US cars and they're pretty expensive here as well, so none of them.
Also I wonder whether FWD is okay?
My goal is to build a car that can rekts those smug BMW 335 drivers.

Yes it should be and it should be mandatory that the state provides it. Ontario has only private insurance groups and it's not unheard of fit for a 20-26 year old to pay 200-600 a month on insurance. It's a huge scam and no one is willing to address it.

OP I bought a manual 4x4 V10 Ram 2500 regular cab long bed for $1900. The clutch was out and the front of the frame had some rust but I was using it as a parts truck so I didn't care about that. Funny thing is when I posted about my project on the Dodge forum a few guys...

What do you plan to do?
I had to replace both radiator fan motors.
Had to replace the top radiator hose and I poured mineral spirits in the spark plug holes and let it sit overnight.
Painted the impreza trunk and roof a couple nights ago, doing the rest today

So my brother took my car for first time ever to pick up something and come back at 7 PM when I was out.
He called at 4 AM and told me that he had a little accident, just seen the car yesterday.

I have a friend at work with a modified 335I and they're fine cars. Just everyone knows a person who has a horror story about their personal experience with a BMW, and very expensive fixes with german company prices are typically much higher than domestic here state side.
My friends 3 series has a clutch that slips but that's because he's a shitty driver and ruined the stock clutch lol. His last 3 series was wrecked but I believe it needed an underdrive pulley and it was some outrageous...

According to /o/ BMW owners they NEVER break down, as long as you preemptively replace parts right before they have a chance to break
I have a 2007 328i with 90k miles. Worst thing that ever went wrong was a bad ignition coil. Take care of it and it'll go for 250k without breaking a sweat.
