I want to buy a winter car.
I saw a 1992 e36 325is on kijiji for $2000. Going to look at it tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone of you has experience with these and if they're reliable winter cars. He installed a new waterpump, thermostat, radiatior and fan clutch.

You live in Ontario that's your own fault. Gtfo of Windsor.
>>14215263
I wish bud, too bad I go to school here.
I'd love to move somewhere in Canada where snow isn't a thing but that place does not exist.
I'm thinking about running a T3/T4 turbo in my 04 SRT4, but I'm not sure what fuel component upgrades I should be looking into.
What sorta output should I look for in new injectors and fuel pump?
>>14215230
Don't do it, you will blow that engine to kibbles and tits
>>14215240
I was gonna run a fairly low boost tune, I'm not gonna push it sky high. The TD04 that was in it was shoving like 20 psi out and it's starting to shit the bed.
No matter what you do to that car, no matter how many Civics or Scoobarus you smoke off the lights, you won't get respect because it's still a Dodge Neon. Tragic little cars.
>>14215240
Also this.
It's simple. I keep it under 30k.
I love both respectively; but choosing between the two is my toughest decision.
I love AWD, I love turbos and I love power. (I should get an Evo, amirite.jpg?!)
Anyone here happen to have either of these cars? What's the good, bad and the ugly? Common problems? I just want to hear what /o/ has to say. Thanks :)
>>14215023
I think the transmissions like to gernade when drivin aggressively. That's what I've heard. Also that an Evo 9 is better than a 10
>>14215110
From what I understand automatic EVO transmissions don't like being in comfort mode, something about having to shift a lot to maintain a smooth, non-jerky ride causing them to overheat. So it's actually better to leave it in sport mode.
Why don't you stop being such a weeb faggot and buy American?

Tits or gtfo.
Both cars have the same asking price.
Both cars have the same specs and mpg.
Both cars have the same stock features aside from the extras mentioned.
>inb4 neither
please elaborate and/or provide an alternative
I need a sub-$10k econobox with good hauling space, superior reliability and cheap maintenance.
toyota no question
why the fuck would you buy a car that's from a dead brand?
You found an XRS? Buy that shit.

Yes
Hey /o/
I have some 5x114.3 wheels I want to put on a 4x114.3 car. I know I can use adapters. The other choice is to fill and redrill. Problem is, these wheels don't have a central lug cover to cover up the redrilling. Would this be possible to do cleanly, or clean up enough that it wouldn't look like ass?
>pic related, a redrilled wheel that HAS a lug cover
>>14214467
I got some redrilled BBS 5 to 4 lug, and they don't look near as nice as that, just aluminum piled into the old holes with a welder.
I don't think you're gonna get something nicer than your pic right there desu.
>>14214488
damn.
>BUT MUH ARs
I'm fully aware they're dumb wheels. I like them.
>>14214515
what wheels are those?
also
just use adapters
Good whatever the hell time it is /o/.
I will be buying one if these or a tC things in a few days. The models range in price from $3800-$6500.
I've done the background for the models in general not for specific cars yet. I'm leaning toward the Prelude honestly.
What I really want you guys to do is...convince me otherwise. Or at least make me think more about it.
Responses from OP won't be me bitching at you about "Muh feels". You guys are honest and that's what I would like. Could you do that for me guys?
All cars...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Its a Accord Coupe with a engine that sucks gas, burns oil (whether its a quart every 200 miles or every 2000 miles is up to luck), and isn't very quick for a new car.
Get a manual tC before all the benchracers rush in and ramble on about 10 year old magazine articles and how its the best car ever made. The tC is newer, more reliable, safer, simpler, and costs almost the same.
Well you tell Manuel that if he wants to talk to me he can transmit messages himself!
When you say tC, do you mean a relatively new one or something from a similar year to the Prelude in your pic?
Heard lots of good about Ludes, mostly bad about tC's.
Hey /o/, I usually browse other boards but these last month's I've been interested in the threads that surge here. I've been wondering, I have 9k saved up, I really want to get a good looking car for that price. I would like it to be fast enough but not a super car. I'd be great if it was very reliable. I take good care of my things and my car won't be any different. Some background info, I'm a college student living with family so I don't pay rent, just bills. Please do help me pick something nice.
Narrow it down a bit more for us anon
Manual/automatic? (pls lrn stick its ez)
Sedan/coupe/hatch/truck?
Cold/warm climate?
RWD/AWD/FWD?
80's/90's/00's? (don't buy new ever)
Oh whoops I should have been much more accurate.
Manual of course
RWD
A newer car would help 00 -14

Coupe, hatchback or sedan in that order

Everyone loves a Miata anon, except the insecure people who haven't driven one. See if you can find a 1994-1997 MX-5. Don't be turned off by the low horsepower. That's easily fixed with a 9k budget and they're extremely light.

How much did you get?
>>14213785
i got $0 from him. body shop estimate is $250 if they can fix my bumper more if they need to source one
>>14213771
If he doesn't pay up take him to take him to small claims court
