> stuck behind two mustangs, a G37, and a 328i going slow driving while my shitbox on a backroad last night
why do people buy cars that they can't even drive well?
at least they each let me pass
>what is polis
Because unlike you, people are actually adults and don't need to drive recklessly constantly
>>15388577
I think you ment to say
"Why are ignorant, unaware assholes allowed to have driver's licenses?"

You just bought your new home with a 10 cars garage. What's in yours?
>inb4 10 corollas
If I'm buying a $150,000,000 house I'm more than likely a billionaire so I guess 10 random supercars for shits and giggles to mostly just show off to rich friends, and then an entire warehouse dedicated to storing the shitboxes I actually drive.
9 corollas and a twingo
>>15388771
9 twingos and a corolla
Alright, admit it. Which of you hom/o/'s used washers/spacers to get aftermarket exhaust sound? Don't lie.
>>15388403
I didn't know it was a thing until I saw it in a YouTube video last week
Is this just so it leaks before the muffler? That's retarded.
>>15388425
can you provide the link
would you a V12 LS

Hey guys, I am about to buy a 2011 370z with 53k miles on it for 18,865. Anything I should know before getting it? Any glaring issues with this year I should check out? Going to be using it as a daily.
>bump
>>15387390
They're pretty reliable, I'd get a 350z instead though, feels nippier and it should be less expensive for one with similar mileage provided you can find one
Check to make sure it revs high and switches gears smoothly up and down

Am I the only one who thinks the GT's antilag system sounds badass? It seriously sounds like a WW2 fighter plane downshifting.
https://youtu.be/x95ViD9AUsA
So that's why it sounds so unique. I rated it as the most unique note at the Glen this weekend. Porsche was still the sexiest scream though.
>>15386592
Sounds more like a V1 to me...

finally a car that can satisfy my fart fetish
What valet cost these days for fancy restaurants, clubs, etc down or in nice areas? Are we seriously talking $5 when you drop off and $5 when you pickup? Or more like $2 and $2, or just $5 on pickup?
Any valet drivers here?
>>15385288
>$5
Stay classy, my friend.
couple bucks to drop off, fiver at pickup.
unless they charge to valet then I usually only tip at pickup (same five)
dgaf if people thing that's too little, too much. I did tip more for the kids who were fighting each other to take my TDI Golf 6MT. (in 2015 when the MkVII was brand new, shiny black, and I didn't totally feel like they were fucking with me)
>>15385288
Valet driver here for Downtown LA & I can confirm if the kid *me* is treating you nice and talking to you with much respect than the least you can do is leave a $5 tip when he gets your car. Because you might never know if that's his last hour shift or his shift ends when you come back to get the car. If you like the valet straight off the park then tip him first. He'll remember you and make sure you'll be taken care off. Trust me
What does /o/ use to make their car smell good? I'm looking for something that isn't chemically, or perfumey smelling, but that smells good.
pic somewhat related
>>15384874
Very Mild scent, not overpowering
dual action odor eliminator
long lasting
and the choice of scents are very nice
Clean your filthy interior, those bad smells come from your seats, carpets, and dashboard. Armor all and carpet cleaner go a long way.
Air Spencer Squash
Smells great but expensive for an air freshener since it has to be imported from Japan
>I'm basically going to be driving a fart powered bicycle surrounded by 4,000lb chunks of steel going 80mph with nothing protecting me but an inch of plastic around my head and some leather but it's totally YOUR responsibility to make sure I'm safe.
Literally special needs motorists.
>>15382219
Litterally no motorcycle rider thinks this way.
We all (should) ride with maximum defense.
>>15382219
>I'm driving a 3000lb vehicle safely I and expect the other people driving similar weighted vehicles to do the same
>Op thinks he's special and can do whatever the fuck he wants.
How badly will I regret this Ford Taurus purchase?
>>15380108
The SHO top version? Well it drinks pretty hard but you can smoke ricers and even some sports cars in it. Plus you have room for days in that thing. Get it in black or white and everyone will think you're a cop
>>15380108
These things can be pretty badass with just a quick ECU tune, boss has one, that thing is quick
>>15380108
Ford. That's a lot of regret.
hey there hom/o/sexuals, describe this board in one image.

Does /o/ like thicc sidewalls?
>>15359299
Excellent profile.
Excellent car desu.
Side exhausts make me hard.
Pretty sure it's worse for performance. If the sidewall flexes the geometry changes and the contact patch shrinks.
Big wheel, wide tire, and thin sidewall is best. Although you want the tire nearly as wide as it is tall
How was Alfa and Ford able to squeeze 100-120 hp out of an N/A pushrod V4 engine?
redpill me on proper tuning.
>>15392672
Oh, i should mention, these engines displaced about 1.6l.
>>15392672
compression
high revs
big ports
>>15392678
but the max compression the Essex V4 made was 9.1:1. Modern engines bang harder than this.
Since V4 is a rough engine layout with the addition of pushrods i can't imagine it ran higher than 5k. They used single barrel carbs as well.
Can it really come down to the breathability of the exhaust?
