>Doing a tablet install in my car with a nexus 7 on top of the dash like in a lot of modern cars
>Buy everything and test fit
>Tablet reflects off the windscreen horribly at night and is distracting.
How do car makers get round this?
>>14586558
Matte screens?
>>14586571
You can get matte anti glare covers for a nexus 7 but I'm not sure how that would prevent reflections. Seeing as reflections are caused by light not how shiny something is. And putting one of those screen covers on doesn't reduce the amount of light the screen casts off.
I've ordered one off ebay to try any way.
>>14586558
Matte screens and shrouds.
But a lot of stock dash displays also reflect like crazy.
Looking at an '09 Hyundai accent manual. It's got low miles and looks like it's in good shape.
I don't know shit about Hyundai. Are they prone to any major failures?
>>14586241
Get a fucking civic.
>>14586241
Get a fucking corolla.

Objectively terrible cars you still find fascinating
>battery in wheel well
>shit chrysler
>still the only "honest" 4 seat convertible
Never trust a man who drives a Sebring.
I mean, look at it.
There are people on here right now who
- don't know that you have to let your (turbo) car idle for a minute or two after a long highway ride before shutting off
- use 0w motor oil by default, even for 4 decade old shitboxes
- fill regular tap water into their starter batteries instead of distilled water
- think using the signals when changing lanes is for the weak
- regularly sniff other car's butt because they dare to go only 2mph over the speed limit
- think the speed limit is actually the minimum speed
- don't...

Ok
What can you guys tell me about this thing?
I recently bought an MG ZT-T 190 -03.
Opening the hood looks intimidating.
There's no room and you can't see anything.
Is it a good engine?
Any particular things I should keep an eye on?
I love the way it sounds and how it feels like. Very racey
>>14586064
Is that a 90 degree V6
>>14586075
It's the engine I'm talking about.
It has quad cams and seems pretty fucking complex but the car was dirt cheap so I went ahead and bought it.
self bumb
Does the Saturn Sky have /o/'s seal of approval?
I like it, probably a fun car. Looks gay as hell though.
Is the Opel version engine the same? If so, I approve. If not, I don't.
the redline is good, and i believe a tune gives it some serious power
What went wrong?
Nothing, despite what MUH AIRCOOLED boomers say, Porsche has gotten better over time.
Nothing. The very first 911s are slow turds barely quicker than a Beetle, and they've had decades of time to make the rear engine layout not kill you in corners.
nothing
except classic Porsche fans are the cringe
110k miles. Truck looks like it's in excellent shape inside and out. 4WD. I know you're probably thinking the paint is hideous but its actually a bonus for me (USFS employee). Seller wants 4800 for it. What should I know about an old grandpas F150? How much should I actually pay?
Interior shot.
Not looking for a DD, just a weekend truck to drive up on dirt roads and go camping/offroading.
>>14585389
>4800
In my area that will get you a decent 97 or better f150 4x4.
Price seems high to me
>>14585430
I agree. It's in excellent shape, but still a truck that's almost got antique plates.
Do you guys like older civic hatchbacks?
>>14585271
EF is touge monster
>>14585271
sedan version of that civic was the first riced car ive seen in my life.
Pic not related but same model.
I like the CRX a lot, does that count?
Guys, I don't know shit about cars, so can you tell me which car this is? I'm looking into buying my first car and this one looks kinda nice.
Looks like a second gen Hyundai Tiburon/Coupe
>>14584316
A Twingo with a body kit
>>14584318
Yes, thank you.
Help.. Im new to stick and i accidentaly got my rpms close to the redline. Now there's a squeaky noise everythime im slowing down and press on the clutch.. Whats wrong
I often drive near the redline in my shitbox and there's no problem
>>14584297
Problaly the tires? Because i did a very bad burnout.
>>14584314
Throw out bearing. And you may as well do a clutch job while you're in there.
Once again I come to /o/ seeking wisdom on behalf of a friend. What do you fags think of this mustang? Good deal or no? My friend is thinking of offering 12.5k for it, but the guy is kind of a douche and claims to have already turned down 13.5k for it.
What do guy guys think it's worth. Feel free to post all of your favorite shitstang memes, I don't give a fuck.

it's autotragic why bother
I really put the screws to douches
>My friend
Sure senpai. Not a bad deal assuming nothing needs fixing but I'd advise against automatic.
So I got my first speeding ticket today, 140$ and got 2 demerit points. I was driving 75km/h in a 50km/h zone. I was doing what I usually do, follow people and go the same speed as everybody else (so if everyone's going 25 over the limit, I'm going 25 over the limit), but for some reason I got picked out and got a ticket.
I swear I wasn't in any way able to pass anyone in any way, so why me? The thing I hate most is that I'm getting charged as if I was going 30km/h above the limit, being dangerous while everybody was driving 50 but EVERYBODY was going...

Also I never got a ticket in 8 years so it was really surprising to just get pulled over for being in the crowd like that and now I'll probably be paranoid while driving.
One time i passed a cop going 100mph, he was 2 lanes over. I saw him but my retarded brain didnt think to stop and kept accelerating. If i had slowed down I could have camouflaged with a truck, but nope, thought maybe i could outrun is slowly. He followed me 2 miles and pulled me over. Didnt give me a ticket though, let me go with a warning. Maybe it was cause i was nervous as fuck and while telling him about the exam i had in 15 minutes i gave him my school id instead of my drivers license. super bro tier. was shitting myself though
>>14581932
>75km/h in a 50
lmfao is that even speeding bruv
Do they put it back again right before inspections?
>>14580856
Dumb catposter
>>14580856
Some states done l don't require cats, but yes, you can remove it and just put it back before inspection, or pay some mexicans to pass inspection
