Vette or Snek?
Viper. Sidepipes are my automotive fetish.
>>14686109
Until you have to get out of a Viper while wearing shorts.
>>14686132
Well yeah, but why would you want to get out?
Can /o/ just take a moment to appreciate how much of an amazing car the 2015 Camaro ZL1 is?
>the styling
>the comfiness
>the power
>the handling
>the subtle interior
Who doesn't want to drive a rolling tank with shit tons of firepower?
>>14685634
It may well be nice, but they don't sell it in Europe.
Thats a shame.
>>14685634
Fags who think seeing is important.
>styling
you must be 18 to post on this site go watch Transformers and play with your Hot Wheels lil Jimmy

>engine shared with Impreza
>successful rally car
>family sedan
They seem like a sweet mix of subtle performance and casual practicality, what does /o/ think? Are there any issues with them?
>>14685369
I wish they weren't so overlooked. They have no Legacy specific-aftermarket support, but the GC Impreza was built off the first Legacy platform so a lot will swap over with little to no modification.
Fun fact
Chilean politian Jaime Guzman got killed in one of those
>>14685369
they're also cheaper than a bag of doritos

This is the first time I see an MR2 in this colour.
Did they only offer it on early MK1s or is it a respray?
Interior seems to match.
>>14685159
>1985 car
>thinks its original color
are you actually retarded?
>>14685165
Why shouldn't it be? Other than (possibly) in this specific case.
>MFW a boosted Mazdaspeed 3 loses to me in my stock STi
Why do people buy Mazdas again?
> number of mazda le mans victories
> 1
> number of subaru or any other Japanese manufacturer le mans wins

Lol why buy a car with no racing heritage?
> inb4 playing in mud is racing heritage
>>14683666

will this be the next godmachine?
it's all the benefits of an ND but
>a good bit faster, 200hp from the factory instead of 140, with the 1.4 known to be capable of 225hp with ONLY a chiptune
>looks more interesting, whether or not it's outright better seems to be mixed
>exhaust note much like the fiat 500 abarth, which is the best exhaust note under 50 grand easily
>the only true internal fiat part is the engine and it's been...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>what's the downside
weighs more
starts at 35k
slower than the ND
>>14682514
>what's the downside?
The price.
>>14682560
>>14682543
that's the euro price converted to usd which usually doesn't hold up
in ameribucks it's probably more like 30k

>NSW Police are now likely to be driving Volvo sedans and wagons
>2 door car with backseats that can only fit midgets being used as a police car
Why?
>>14682251
High speed pursuit, then they call the Commos and Falcons to come and apprehend
>>14682264
Why bother with a high speed pursuit? It's not like there's a car that can outrun a radio, or a helicopter.
High speed pursuit cars are more of a excuse for policemen to have exciting cars and look good for the media than anything else.
I'm planning on buying an SUV for towing cars with a trailer so these are heavy loads, does it matter whether it's RWD or AWD? Does AWD tow better or there's not that much difference than RWD?
>>14682152
how often are you towing? are we talking a tow dolly or a 3 car trailer?
AWD/4x4 reduces towing capacity by eating into your GVWR.
>>14682152
RWD for towing
>>14682152
Rwd would be better choice, but a light pickup from any manufacturer would be an even better choice, in every way I look at it. Why SUV?
My friend Jeff wants to buy an old 944 because it's the only Porsche he can afford. What are better options?
Tell Jeff to get a Miata.
Protip: if he can only afford a used 944 he can't actually afford a used 944.
Maybe an s platform or an e30.
>>14679244
He could just buy any wrecked porsche, so he could have a boxster and such
hypothetical thread.
Your grandfather has died. He's the last of your grandparents to kick the bucket. The money was gone before he died but there were no outstanding debts. In his will, he leases you his pride and joy. A pristine 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic.
Wat do?
Sell, because I don't care about shit cars.
>>14686375
>leases
leaves. fucking typo.
>>14686375
> 1989
Not old enough to be a classic, not new enough to be any good. Drive it in his memory, then sell it.
Hell, when my grandfather died, I was given his car. It was a shitty 80s Fiesta, though, and turned out to be a cut-and-shut.
And the interior was literally coated in a mixture of honey and beeswax, because he kept bees.
Why is this hobo famous again?
For making shit and calling it gold.
>>14685758
he is in the last need for speed game
>that hair
Thinking about buying this crap, thoughts? BTW it's an Ecoboost
eco "boost" was pathetic if i recall correctly the v6 is faster.
>>14685329
well, I has more HP and torque than the V6...
V6 Camaro is lighter and faster
>buying a used car, budget <$2000
>show friend some listings for his input
>rejects any pre-2000 car, tells me to avoid anything over 100k miles
Is he utterly wrong?
Yes.
Absolutely yes. Look for something japanese, it'll last forever.
>>14684471
I fucking call shenanigans
>did take hard riding and constant 7500rpm tho
>300k didn't use oil
What radar detector does /o/ use?
>inb4 "go the speed limit faggot"
Not all of use drive Mazdas
Tickets are so cheap and detectors so heavily fined here that I can pay fiddy tickets from the price and fine for one confiscated detector.
>>14683865
Beltronics STi Magnum in my car and Adaptiv TPX on my bike with line of sight LED's in my helmet to signal threat direction.
Waze has been a better than a radar detector. But would say when I had one I never got a ticket. When it goes off how long until cops get a reading? I know laser is instant.
