Got an 07 CVPI. The strangest thing happened to me today.
I was driving up this very steep hill. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but the speed limit on this hill is only 30 so I always turn off overdrive before I climb it. Otherwise at such a steady low speed/rpm the car wants to shift into OD, then struggles with the anemic OD gear and goes back into first, only to drop back into OD and repeat. So I've scaled this hill a million times before with OD off, but today my car did something very...

Fucking with it in the first place. Just drive the car the way is meant to don't play with shit.

Dude, Fords AOD has been shit since the dawn of time. It's always jumping between OD and 1. Hills like the one described are exactly why you're able to turn it off on a dime.

Best road trips I've been on in the last few years-
SF to NY in 5 days in an E92 M3 (shit car but fun trip nonetheless), with me and a dog, was taking the dog back to NY because after hurricane Sandy the family couldn't find a way to get the dog on the plane for a few weeks. Took 50/70 the whole way, highly recommend over 80
Last year drove from SF to southern Utah, hit up everything, drove off road a lot and camped for free in BLM land.
This summer I'm going up to Whistler/Squamish, then heading east into Montana and Idaho, going to be a 10 day trip or so.

GTR with engine out, should be done by the end of the month. Can't wait to go on another long ass road trip

Whats the shittiest/least reliable/worst current generation car out of everything on the market?
>pic semi related
>>14663535
I dunno, past few years every company's pretty much seemed to step their shit up.
Mitsubishi seems to be lagging behind, and Suzuki's gone. Still though, drove the Mirage for a while and it was actually not bad. Crazy good fuel economy, and i could floor it everywhere without breaking laws which was fun. Cornering at 60km/h took balls and felt like going 100+.
Honestly though, all the companies i can think of seem to have been making really nice cars for the past few years.

GM, especially in Australia. The good does not outweigh the dead V8 RWD Commo or that they pushed the fucking Cruze on us instead of going ahead with the RWD V6 twin turbo Torana concept.

Shamefully copied from legendary VINbro's threads

Slower and more expensive than this, and it looks like ass. Why would anyone buy a new car for performance reasons?
