what's the dumbest sleeper idea you've had? right now i'm considering buy a zx3 focus and using the fswerks turbo kit to give enough horsepower to destroy the local ricers around here. the focus is pretty lightweight as it is and i could reduce the weight even further without much effort after installing the turbo.

Mine is less grounded in reality, and by less I mean almost not at all.
A van. Like an Express. Crank 800+ horses and like 850+ lb-ft and completely overhaul the suspension for street performance.
The only problem is that these have very high-profile tires because van, so the moment you bring down the size of the tire and up the size of the rim, it's gonna be noticeable.

What good will that do? They have different front and rear fascias, rocker panels, wing and wheels from base models.

Trusted companies make both for my specific engine and money is not an issue. I know any F/I increases engine wear and can cause issues down the line. If you like the car. It's kind of a personal decision, but dealerships usually mark up prices heavy on their used cars. That being said, they would probably be less likely to sell you a lemon than the average person.
